We stayed one night here and loved the place. They gave us the Handicap room which was very nice. The front desk helped us work out a scheduling error with Hotels.com and gave us a better rate. Very clean and very nice people. read more

We took a road trip in June 2010, and stayed here one night. The rooms were big and clean. We will definitely stay here again when the need arises. (I recommend room #109 if you can get it. First floor, side entrance, as well as a really nice sized little kitchen and living area. I am thinking that this must have been a wheelchair accessible room, and maybe that's why it was so spacious.) We brought our dogs on this trip, they charged an extra $5 each for them to stay in the room with us. I can't comment on the condition of the pool, or the continental breakfast, as I didn't partake. But in the four areas most important to me: high speed internet, cable tv, hot shower and cleanliness, they get a solid four stars! read more

The place was flooded in May of 2019 and that was failed to be mentioned anywhere. Upon arrival, the lobby smelled terribly of water damage smell. The guy at the front desk wasn't friendly at all. He gave the impression that he loathed our existence. There is no pool and I wouldn't count on their free breakfast doing much for you, if at all. On the positive side, rooms are cheap, especially on Priceline ($42) and the 2nd floor room was great, no complaints there. (make sure you are 2nd or 3rd floor) read more

Getting a makeover. ..rooms are clean, spacious. Quite. Great service. Loacated near 35. Dont wait till later in the day reserve a room, oil field work is booming in the area. read more

Anyway, I've stayed in lots of places in the area. We love that this place is CLEAN and it feels SAFE. There are other places that are neither. Sure it's a little ways from the university but take 64 to 177 and you miss lots, I mean LOTS of traffic and headache on 51 after the game. It's closer than Ponca City (yea, it's a real place) and Gutherie on 35. Sure, there's a train about 2:00 am. But you're in the sticks,man! When you're close to stillwater and you want consistency GO HERE or the Microtel on Hall of Fame (always booked up in football season or school times). You can't go wrong. Very convenient if you don't want to drive far for food. The staff were friendly and kind across the board, from the afternoon staff to the evening staff. Breakfast was just right, and the woman handling breakfast that morning, I wish I'd gotten her name, was great. She was taking care of breakfast while also doing double duty helping with housekeeping and rooms. When I went downstairs to ask for more towels, the morning staff was very accommodating. The only hiccup was checkout. We had requested a late checkout, and our app showed our checkout time as 4 p.m. But at 2 p.m., Dennis knocked on the door to tell me I had to leave. He was kind about it and explained that his manager had left notes saying we were supposed to check out at 2 p.m., not 4. The problem was that the change was never communicated to us. No email. No message. Nothing documented that we could see. All we had to go on was the app saying 4 p.m., and I had planned meetings that afternoon around that checkout time. So if you're staying here and request a late checkout, I would recommend confirming the time and getting it in writing before planning your day around it. Everything else about the stay was great. The communication mix-up at checkout was really the only thing that fell short.

Look at the picture with the Fireplace entrance and multiply that dated situation X 10 when it comes to hallways and everything in the room. If this were to close after today I'd have to ask why they waited. There another hotel in town by this chain so maybe they are better but definitely look at website photos and know that what the hotel could have looked like, and to think people paid up to $500 per night this past weekend screams the word Highway Robbery.

Both the orange juice and apple juice were watered down, and that's my only small-but-real complaint. Overall, I think we've found a new preferred place to stay in Stillwater.
