Well, if what they tried to pass off as breakfast was deluxe, I would HATE to see what an economy breakfast might be - no sausage biscuits, no juice, bad coffee, one blueberry muffin (small commercial package, FYI) and stale cheerios and corn flakes. After checking in (and in all fairness the night manager was as nice as could be, but it was all downhill from there) the first sight I saw upon locating the room was a very sketchy looking gentleman coming out of a nearby room. I hope he was delivering a pizza, but his car didn't indicate that was a possibility so I fear something nefarious was underway. Moving on, upon entering the room, I had to search for a light that worked as all the wall fixtures failed to turn on. Fortunately the bathroom light worked, but in hindsight I wish it hadn't given the large amount of water damage visible in the ceiling tiles. After that, I retreated to the car to bring in some bags & while doing so, a creepy old man staying in the room next door decided to have a peak out the window to see what was going on. Except he did so without bothering to put any clothes on, thus exposing me to the full monty. I know Hope is the birthplace of Bill Clinton, but I didn't need to see the other guests doing their best impression of him. Some other nuggets from the room: the fridge didn't work, the toilet wouldn't stop running & the sheets were a little dirty. Overall, I'd say you'll be much better off skipping the Relax Inn & paying for a better hotel if you need to stay in Hope. The room... - There were no chairs, just a big empty space where a table and chairs should be. ??? - The TV was a 20", way too small for a hotel room. - There was no Kleenex, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, coffee maker. - The bathroom was very small. - There were only two flat pillows on the bed. - The heating unit sounded like a jet plane at take off each time it would start up. - Bed was comfortable.
