I hired him twice..the first time he was very nice respectful and charged a good price and I thought great I found a great guy to work with for things I can't do myself. So when it seemed he completed the work the first time (that now only works intermittently) I was excited to hire him back right away for some other jobs being I've searched for a long time to find a handyman who was honest and would do a good job. I made a whole list of stuff that needed to be done. We discussed the prices and agreed upon them as well as wrote them down. The work was supposed to be done that day but it was not and he insisted on payment immediately assuring me he would return to finish it the next morning. Days later he still had not returned telling me he took other jobs after he started mine (and after he charged me for everything) and he had to do those first. At this point, he had not finished one single project but required me to pay. I should have just said no and made him wait until the work was completed. After charging me almost $500 he is refusing to return and has not completed one job that I was charged for. I am in the process now of working with his business payment provider on an investigation to have my funds returned to me. Luckily I have pictures of all his sloppy incomplete work and his texts to prove that he still did not complete his work and refused to return so thankfully that should be taken care of quickly. UPDATE: After seeing his response here and that he is lying through his teeth I figured I would post my receipts and photos of his work along with our communication back and forth. For several years in 2010's, Clint w/Smith Handyman Services, has done many handyman jobs for us…read moreand had been quite reliable in the past. In 2019, he recommended we get an iron filtration system, similar to the one in his home, which would work in tandem with our water softening system, so we ordered it and he installed it. Some time during 2019 and 2020, the system he installed needed repaired on three occasions. For the first and second repairs, he arrived within a good time frame and repaired the system. On the third repair, we made a dozen or more calls, left voice mails, over a period of weeks, as our system continued to leak water everywhere, to no avail. He never returned our calls nor did he stop by to set up a time for repair. We are INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED and have had to call 2 additional water and plumbing services to try and get this repaired. If we can't, we are out thousands of dollars on this one job that could have been taken care of so simply by him. If he would have simply explained that he was booked up or had an emergency in the family that he was dealing with, we would surely have understood, but to just blow us off is really disappointing, at the very least!!!

All of the lights had chips and gaps around them. Had to buy goof rings to cover up all the mistakes. Finally admitted that he'd never worked on tile before. Only sheetrock. My house is NOT for you to practice with. The curtain rods I had him replace were slightly lopsided since he didn't use a leveler. I had him install a light fixture. He forgot to add the glass plate that covers the light. He came back to install but it's crooked. Not every handyman does good work.
