I asked for a quote to replace my current door lock with a smart lock. We agreed on the price so…read morethe technician came to install the lock. He left after installation saying that he is not responsible for setting up. So I was doing it myself. But I had trouble calibrating the lock because the hole in the frame was not big enough so the dead bolt keeps getting stuck in it every time I tried to calibrate the lock. The technician should have known that before he left and if not than he is not qualified to do his job. So he left knowing that I am going to have trouble when I try to calibrate the lock after he left. So I called him He came again next day but asked for more money to fix it. He said that he need to do some fabrication on the frame and it will cost me another 50$. At first I disagreed so he left without doing anything. Now I am stuck with a door without a fully functional door lock. I will have to ask someone else to come and finish the job and of course pay him again. I finally agreed to pay the additional amount to get the job done since I was kind of in a hostage situation with a non functional door lock on my front door. They agreed to send a technician but nobody showed up. So I end up with a unfinished job in spite of paying the agreed amount and also willing to pay more five days after the job was started.
