It's trendy in terms of retail fads rather than fashion. The clothing items are mostly useful basics that have nothing to do with haute couture, apart from the quintessential pieces like your classic rain boots and slickers and the like. You really can't go wrong here. Rented a canoe from their Nobel location (White Squall Paddling Centre -53 Carling Bay Rd.) a few weekends ago and couldn't of been happier. Very much has a mom&pop feel but was pleasantly surprised with the amount and variety of stuff they have, it's basically a mini MEC in the middle of the wilderness. You're even able to try out the boats before you buy one since they are right on the lake. The guy helping us (I think his name was Jack?) was very helpful, he walked through canoeing 101 with my novice friends, and after talking to us about our plans suggested a alternate route out on Georgian bay that saved us a ton of paddling. Plus they have a chicken coup in the backyard - how cool is that? Also be sure to check out the 'offices' if you have to go. All in all, nothing but good things to say about this place, highly recommended.

This place is awesome…read more I brought my wife here to check out a nice new rifle for her (she's a novice shooter just getting into sport shooting and I've had my PAL for about a year). We dealt with Logan, and he was great. He was especially patient as I explained some basic gun handling safety to my wife as we were browsing. He offered us a number of choices and was super friendly and helpful without putting any pressure on us at all. In fact, he encouraged us to take our time and do our research ahead of time. Even to go to a range and see what we like before we commit. I have to say it's moments like these that make me proud to be a Canadian gun owner and enthusiast. It shows that gun owners in Canada are awesome people and are always safety conscious and willing to help those new to the hobby. After being treated, so well, even though we're from Toronto originally, we will definitely be coming back here. And I would recommend anyone even vaguely interested in firearms to come here and ask questions and speak to the awesome staff. Without a doubt they will take good care of you.

The store stand behind their products and their techs always took time to help me with any mechanical issues with my bike, helped me understand the bike language and assisted with dialing my bike in for the best setup for me while racing and always made sure my bike was ready for my next race. Little Ed's also impressed me with their involvement in the community through sponsoring or taking apart in a variety of community/environmental fund raising events, free skill development programs and group rides for all abilities and experience levels.
