Today I went to Sunshine Thrift store in Bradenton FL...OMG I was told on Google Maps by a review that this place was reasonably cheap! OMG...NO they are NOT! $10.99 for a shirt/Blouse is outrageous when Goodwill is $5.99 90% of the time! I will have to pass on this one! They were clean and organized but kids books $1.99 is too much! read more

terrible experience. stay far away. I asked the manager to lower the price on a half sweater and he was very rude to me and said no. I had just dropped off a whole bag of free clothing to him. maybe I should've charged him. read more

Nice thrift shop with a good variety of items and name brands with fair prices. Worth stopping in to see what treasures you might find!

This was my first time to this store. Everyone was very nice and store was clean and organized. Margie that works there was especially helpful and kind! I will definitely be back! read more

I don't think I have ever left this shop without buying something. For the most part it is pretty well organized, and prices are pretty good. I can always count on finding an article of clothing and I always get some of the popcorn that is freshly popped behind the counter. So..........even if you don't find anything else, you can get some popcorn! Friendly staff. read more

We came to Florida and of course had to find a thrift shop. As soon as we walked in we saw a sign for 1/2 off items that were red or green tagged. We had a group of teenagers with us and they went crazy. There were a lot of items we brought home with us. The store was pretty clean. They had good prices, but some items did seem a little over priced. The employees we came in contact with were really nice. read more

In the last 2 weeks I've been to the store twice. Jerry helped me both times. He was pleasant, personable and professional. He went out of his way to go in the back to look for a box for my Christmas tree, found one and helped me get it to my car. Sunshine has a great selection of items and the prices are right. I'm very happy with the attention that Margie gave me today at the store on Bradenton..I hope they have more people like her she is 10/10

Good selection, mostly clothes, but also some household and media items. Maybe I am just unfamiliar with their system, but I did not understand how certain items were priced. I got some glasses with some sort of code written in wax pencil on them, but this did not seem to correlate with the price. Thankfully the prices on household items are very reasonable, so it did not matter too much. The prices on used plushes were unusually high though, which is a bummer as it can be difficult to tell how clean plushes are without seeing the stuffing. read more

The employees at this location (especially Tammy, Karla, Amy and the lady that works the dressing room. I think her name is Edith) are always so friendly and helpful. They always speak to me and ask how I'm doing. They make me feel appreciated. I always find affordably low priced items. The selection is awesome! read more

Hard to review a thrift store-- depends on what is out at the time. This place was clean and bright and the staff was very nice.

One of my favorite thrift stores I've ever been to, it is so well rounded for resellers and consumers alike that it is always a worthwhile stop. You can't go here without finding quality items for a decent price. This place has been steadily charging more and more over the years, yet it still contains plenty of value and is very worthwhile for its clothing and Knick knacks alike read more

Have found some steals on blazers, vinyl albums and kitchenware. Smells a lil unusual at times. eeek!

This place is a great for a thrift store. They have a wide selection of clothes and there prices are dirt cheap. There bathrooms and floors were clean. I went back twice while I was in the area and found some great vintage items. Worth the drive to check it out if your in the area. read more

The store is great and has awesome things hidden all throughout it! but the new manager Jackie is horrible at guest servicing and she's incredibly rude! Would recommend steering clear of her while you can read more

Sunshine Thrift store often has unique vintage finds and great "sales" however you have to be alerted via text message (which are not consistent). BUYER BEWARE: if you go on a day when you can get items for $.50 the place will be jam packed with people who have cart piled high & there maybe 2 cashiers. So be prepared to wait. read more

I love the selection and the employees are really nice. It is clean and organized. Found a lot of clothes for my grandsons. We are here in the area because we were flooded in NC from Hurricane Florence. While talking to the manager about our situation she asked why we came to Florida as it is surrounded by water. I said because the house our friends are letting us use here is not UNDER water like our home is in NC. REALLY?!?! she ruined our whole experience there. read more

Do not go to this place. I bought some items from them and noticed something was wrong and I went immediately back in to the store to return to 2 minutes later, but they said no refunds except for electronics. Which I was not aware of. What they are doing is wrong. They wouldn't even let me exchange it for something else. They care more about money than their customers. And I certainly will not go back. They wouldn't even make eye contact with me because they knew they were wrong. I've shopped here a few times but not anymore. I truly regretted coming into the store and shopping there. Which is never a good thing. You want people to feel good about their purchases not bad. They really need to give the customer atleast 1 day for returns. Don't put money before your customers it is bad business! read more
