I am seriously addicted to this place. Is this what it means when people are addicted to getting…read moretattoos!? It's painful but in a super satisfying kind of pain and after that, all you could think of is how can I save more so that I could come here every week!? My muscles were loosened and my super tight shoulder have knots that were untied after the deep tissue massage session here with Linda. Wait!! Deep tissue massage is not supposed to be this good in the Twin Cities because I always get utterly disappointed with the massage claimed deep tissue here, but it always ended up underwhelming. I can't believe I actually found a place that truly knows how to give a good massage. The last time I had a really good massage was in Thailand and this reminds me of that experience. This is my second time returning to see Linda and I just made my third to go in a month. I am definitely addicted to the pain and the pressure points that Linda puts on me each time. She goes all out using her elbows, arms and partial body weight. Her massage was fully committed and I loved it. The tense pressure on my shoulder feels so much better now, allowing me to work and be productive in an office setting. This spa place is not fancy, but it is clean. I also love that they use unscented coconut oil to massage my body, leaving a beautiful glow and a layer of moisturizer on my skin. I think this type of deep tissue massage is not for everyone, but it certainly is what I look and crave for ... so I can't wait to visit again.

I just want to mention, after seeing the negative review from 2014, note that this is Chinese massage, which can be much more vigorous than most westerners are used to. Otherwise they won't know.

For the value I thought it was worthwhile especially with how easily they could fit you into the schedule. I felt a bit badly that it seemed like the woman giving the massages was also handling the front desk, but she had smooth system that worked our pretty well. When she finished with the last person showed me my room and then went back out to finish their payment. I thought the pressure and style was good for what I requested. I said I was ok with deep tissue, but I think she went a bit lighter it being my first time there. I thought it a bit odd that they didn't do any questions initially, but I also know most masseuse's can tell what your body needs so I usually leave it up to them to work on what needs to be done. Though I thought she went light on me, I had my typical response of being a bit sore the next day, but I just kept hydrating and moving. Overall I had a positive experience though it wasn't exactly what I'd expected.
