They are so great with our son and provide numerous updates throughout the day including photos! All of the ladies that worked with him in the infant room were outstanding and you could really tell that they care about the kids. My son is now in the beginners room and I love how much they do. They teach them independence when it comes to feeding themselves. They are doing all kinds of hand on projects. The Director & Assistant Director are great with communicating things back the parents. Recently , there as been a major change - an experienced LnL teacher has moved to the 4 K class, replacing the prior 4 K - asst director. She is doing s fantastic job ! Each teacher feels the freedom to change their classrooms and they are bright, cheerful, and automatically make you smile. This is one of the best staff LnL has ever had ! Parents can leave knowing their child will not be hollered at or belittled -making them feel so insecure at such an early age . The new young teacher shows a lot of favoritism and gave candy as a reward to kids and only to those she liked. We have to find better and cheaper care without us worried of our son deprived from fun and bullied by the older kids and us telling us to get him in medications ( he is only 6!).

I recently read the 1-star review from April 14, 2023, and I wanted to share my own experience. I have never been told that I could not pick up my child at any time if I needed to. I also completely understand the reasoning behind not allowing visitors to walk around the classrooms after a tour. In my opinion, this is likely for cleanliness, safety, and the privacy of the children. Personally, I would not expect people to be walking throughout classrooms after touring the school. My son has received nothing but love, patience, encouragement, and support from the teaching staff. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for him and for the growth I have seen in him. I truly cannot recommend this school enough! I have loved our experience so much that I am already looking forward to my daughter attending LMMS when she turns two.

Parents are unable to simply show up unexpectedly and check on their children. You must make an appointment. They won't even allow parents to walk through the one and only entrance. It stays locked and You must ring a bell from outside and Ms. Gordon (supervisor/?) will come to the door. I understand safety, but she will not allow you to come in and walk to check on your children for any reason whatsoever. COVID is over. This is extremely concerning. The building is massive. They keep the two year olds in a back room where NO ONE can see. The children are forced to nap from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Way too long. If your child won't nap, they're forced to lay on a matt quietly or put in a separate room to sit with the supervisor. Huge turnover in teacher's aids. Children are always begging for water and food when picked up. I have witnessed from the parking lot the two year olds teacher, not aid, shoving the back of each child's heads out the door as they walked out of the side entrance passed her towards the playground. There is nothing about this place that feels good. No surveillance at the most expensive daycare/Montessori school in Lexington? RED FLAG.

So we enrolled our then 18 month old son. His 1st day he cried as most children would when being left in an unfamiliar place. His teacher Ms. Shay just ignored his cries as he followed her around the class trying to grasp her legs. My son would cry and hold on to me so tight whenever we got to the classroom. At first, I thought it was because he didn't want me to leave him but it got worse. So I would pop up at different times and observe through a window where I could not be seen. I discovered my son being totally ignored for 3 days. I arrived one day during nap time because I was curious how they were able to get these children to take a nap. I observed the other teacher Ms.Olivia pop a child on his leg and physically made him lay back down because he sat up. I was livid. I removed my son from the classroom and notified the asst. principal and director. Judging by their reaction, I truly believe they are aware of this type of physical punishment. It was pretty strange how a classroom full of children this age were so well behaved and quiet, all the time. They were scaring these poor babies with physical harm. I asked what was going to happen to this teacher that just hit this 18 month old child and they said it was a lot of paperwork involved. They never checked on the child. Basically, nothing was done. The teacher remained there. These children are not able to talk so they are unable to let anyone know that they are being physically punished. The parents of the child was not notified. This school reputation is great because they sweep things under the rug. I did notify DSS because I really feared for the babies in that classroom. This school first concern is their reputation and not the welfare of children like they portray.
