It was great to be able to sample the different varieties of blueberries scattered around, as well as taste the different ripeness of them so you pick the ones you like best! When you arrive you are given a bucket that has a bag attached on the inside and you just get straight to picking! A bucket holds about 5-6 pounds of blueberries and are $8.00 per pound. When you are done, you bring the bucket back to the tent where it is weighed. They accept cash and credit cards. Our group was able to learn a little bit about the history of the farm, what makes the blueberries organic, and the different varietals of blueberries they had, which was very interesting. That was about five months ago…read more Second time I went was two weeks ago, and I can't even give this place even one star as far as customer service and quality of their products. Might be because they're moving and selling their farm, that they don't give a crap right now but I spent $60 dollars there and got totally ripped off and would never go there again while these owners are still there. I'm just telling you guys this so that you don't get ripped off too. I bought wheat grass that was limp to begin with. It cost $20 for the tray. I told them I would take the wheat grass without the tray and could they do it for 15. She said yes and we put it in a bag. I took it right home, put it back on a tray and within one day it was smelling rotten. It was turning yellow and I had to throw it out. I sent her pictures. I told her and she told me it was because I took it off the tray to begin with and bought it without the tray, so why did she still sell it to me that way if that was true? Then I bought an aloe plant from them for $15. The plants were all cramped inside a pot and had root rot. I was gonna try to save a few of the aloe babies, but when I got home and started to remove the dead plant leaves, I realized that the whole plant was a big mess and I never should've bought it from them. I grow fresh herbs myself, but I did not have any mint at the time, so I purchased a mint plant. When I brought it home I took a picture of it and asked Google lens what it was since it had a really weird smell not like usual mint does and it told me that it was from the mint family but that it had a fungus, which is why it smelled really weird too, so I threw that out as well. That was another five dollars down the drain. I did buy eggs from Tracy, but I'm going to throw those out too because I just don't trust this lady on any level now because she did not respond to me as a professional who owns a business and who gives a crap about her customers. Again, I texted her the pictures and told her what happened and not one time did she apologize or offer to replace the items or credit me, she basically gaslit me by saying it was my fault for not purchasing the wheatgrass without their tray, ( which I would have had to return it out deposit on) Not one time did she apologize or offer to make this sale right or offer any understanding for my dissatisfaction. She's totally unprofessional and doesn't give a crap! Guess it's all about money to her. I just hope the poor cats and animals that are there get a really good owner after she's moved to Mt Dora. Hopefully someone that's compassionate and gives a crap about people as well as animals. This is the worst customer service I think I've ever had in a really long time and that means in person or online. Very disappointed.

Whole raw milk ( not fit for human consumption ) is selling for 16.99 - 21.99 a gallon; which is significantly more expensive than other raw milk sellers in lake/ Orange County. Meat prices are listed as $/lb; but all frozen meat beef, chicken lamb, duck, pork only comes in more than 1 pound packages.They sell more prepackaged foods in Plastic than glass or paper packaging, than they did in the past. They have 1 small bison, 2-Emu, 2-Bramaha cows, 1-llama(recently sheared), ducks, and chicken to look at and pet if you want to. Sadly it looks like end stage Capitalism is happening at Lake Meadow Farm too. They seem to be more interested in profits than they do in customer satisfaction and customer service. They carry lafermière yougurt at 5.99 a container while target charges $3.19, and a instant charges $3.49. On on a sidenote, they do have little placards along the walkway from the parking lot to the store where you could put your child's face on a picture and show them as being a cow or a farmer if you choose. in retrospect, they used to always be expenses but now they're just ridiculously expensive.
