Horrible return policy, times are wrong. The staff aren't very helpful and the business owners make the shopping experience uncomfortable.

I have never encountered an owner of a store to be so kind, extremely knowledgeable, experienced…read moreand compassionate. That was my experience at Lovey You Wigs. It's devastating and hard enough to get a cancer diagnosis and loose your hair. My encounter with Lisa was over and above. She is an expert in her field and really cares about her customer. She is honest and makes you feel valued. I highly recommend Lovely you Wigs and can not urge you enough to visit this store. Debby M

aI really don't like that all my reviews are negative. I am going to get on the positive ones ASAP…read more SOOOO......This store seems like it could be really great for older women (50+) with some money to spend who know what they want. It was not the right place for a 29 year old woman whose hair was falling in small clumps over time but who had half of her hair left when she entered (ok, I'm going to stop writing in the third person now). I had never tried a wig on in my life that wasn't a costume and did not know the difference between a 150% remi hand tied from a yaki 120% swiss lace front from... yeah. What first hit me when I walked in was "holy sheitel!" because there were head scarves if the most Boca of prints overflowing from atop every display. I told the proprietress and her employee, who i believe was Russian, that i knew nothing about wigs, needed one, preferably not my everyday fare (long, brown, scalpy frizzball). As you can see in the pictures below, although I tried on maybe 5 or 6, I lied two. Problem was that the blonde had to be shipped because it wasn't in stock in that color and... The brown Raquel Welch lace front not-heat-friendly synthetic that I would discover had a defined part, a curl that would not go anywhere and, if the owner cared, was way too large from temple to temple but instead of saying that, i was repeatedly admonished for tucking hair behind my ears. So it came time to try to 2 wigs on. The blonde was human hair, around $3k. The auburn $3-400. Instead of giving me a cap, I was given a thick plush headband to try on the wigs with. Erm, unsanitary... But i tried not to think about that... The owner was very impatient with my not being able to place the wig on correctly but not until it was clear i was not going to be purchasing the blonde. I liked the synthetic and the price was much more palatable. However it was a bit itchy so they said they would sew a silk lining in. Ok. I came to pick up my wig with lining and decided at the last minute to get a hat with hair underneath for $50 or $75. This was the best purchase i ever made there as i wore it out and about which i never did with the other. I was never told how to take care of my wig. I bought a wig brush and pink plastic holder online. I did not know how to make it my own, if and when to shampoo it and with what, if i could style it.... Nothing. To make matters worse, I git home and discovered that my wig cap had been shrunken to fit my cats head. The silk lining i had paid an extra $40 or so for was a double basted piece of fabric covering the whole cap. Too bad it was not the same circumference as the cap. I had to take it out which took 30 seconds. As you can see, the wig quickly turned grotty even though I didn't dare wear it out (no one mentioned cutting lace, plucking, parting, taping or gluing). Basically, once i turned out to not be a human hair sale, i was treated like crap. I was the only customer there each time i went in and, like i said, if you have money to burn and are an older woman, i think this could be a very pleasant experience. It was not for me. PICS: two are in the store trying the wigs on, two are a couple weeks then months later. The hat pic with unintended cleavage is only last summer. Still lookin good! ;)
