Currently, they are going through some remodeling so the bingo room is in the old buffet room and feels a bit disjointed, but that's temporary. First timers in a real BINGO hall not on a cruise ship. This stuff is serious business and NO time for chit chat or to take a sip of your free drink. We were comforted by Karrie who checked us in and gave us all the info. She made it easy and understandable! We specifically came here because they have only paper tickets and a new BINGO room! Make sure you show up about 30 mins prior to the start. Games are played for about 75 mins every hour on the odd hour. But you do need to get there early to buy your tickets, settle, and get organized! We came for the 1pm game but loved it so much we stayed for the 3pm game too. read more

One person likes to whistle every time the number 69 is called and there's someone who screams bingo so loudly it startles you. That's like going to a seafood restaurant, but you hate seafood and then you leave a bad review, because they serve seafood.. lol! Anyway, I'm THANKFUL for this ONE AND ONLY paper only bingo, as I like playing just for the fun and chance to win a little money. I'm not a typical gambler, so I hate slots where a ton of money is gone in minutes. With bingo, it lasts an hour and with paper only, there's more of a chance to win!! At machine bingo halls, I'm still playing paper (that's the fun part to me), but real gamblers with deep pockets are playing 100's of cards at a time on machines.. that sucks! My friends and I were trying to find something to do after dinner and decided to give bingo a try. It was my first time playing and I really enjoyed myself. The bingo room was clean, spacious and had a bar (that also sells snacks) and vending machines. There are two lines (regular and ADA accessible). The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Especially being a total newbie, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. The cashier helped us in great detail and was totally sweet about it. They also have several vending machines selling dabbers (not all the machines were working when we went though). During the games, they would tell us what page we needed to be on and what sort of game we were playing (regular bingo, double bingo, six pack, etc). This is where it got a bit confusing for us because they would give the next number and then disclose info in between regarding other games and prizes so it confused us a bit. We played a 9pm game and an 11pm game, by the second game we knew to ask questions regarding the other games and info they would disclose. Which again the cashier helped us in great detail. The prize money was definitely a plus and unexpected to me since I had no idea you could win so much. Someone won $450 and I was like "whatttt." Definitely added to the excitement of the game. Although, I did not win, I enjoyed the TWO FREE drinks! You can get a variety of drinks with your receipt: alcoholic drinks, water, and coffee. My only con and reason for the four stars: I would've liked that when purchasing the cards during the first game, the cashier would have brought up the other games being played simultaneously. Happy New Year's 2018! This is my first review for the year. I celebrated life and my love of winning moolah here in the Bingo Room last night. I've been winning here for probably 4 months. I dragged my husband in here against his will one day and he won the Dual Action Coverall after only paying a total of $8 for both of us to play. $42 profit isn't bad at all. I like coming here because I've made a connection with many of the employees such as Christal (manager), Carey and Ranay are both excellent bartenders. Pam is another manager that will make sure everything is right with your experience. Rick is a quiet person but I go to him when I need something answered in a straight forward kind of way. I like him too. There are a few people (maybe just one) with a bad attitude that works here but I'm going to avoid her in 2018, she kills the #winning vibe for me. Now, about that winning. I win a lot here. I've never bought in for more than $30 except for last evening with the bingo event. Even so, I cashed out at $404 win. Not bad for a night of fun and making new friends. Bingo is easy and your $20 can go a long way. Try sitting for an hour at a slot machine or table and see what happens. $20 will not go very far. I see the bingo room as a way to relax for an hour and most often I win more than I would at a slot. Happy to find PAPER ONLY bingo but the overly LOUD inappropriate music is too much to tolerate. Complaining only seems to make it louder and louder. The bingo staff seems quite unconcerned and claims to not have control over the volume; even during the Christmas Season when the casino had nice holiday music playing the music in the bingo room was Janis Joplin, the Doors, etc at a piercing volume. They keep raising the rates for the bingo cards yet the Blue, which used to cost $3.00 and paid $75.00 now cost $5.00 and another for "validation" and pay only $50.00. Years ago, all special jackpots and extras such as the "X" in 18 numbers or less, the "G" row in the first 5 called numbers, coverall in 55 numbers or less, "Pick 3", and more, were all included in the $3.00 cost of a blue pack. All this coupled with the constant talking during Bingo sessions and the staff not doing anything about the problem make it too much for me to ever want to go back again. Lackluster management & employees and the greed of Station Casinos makes me sad and ashamed of what Las Vegas has become. They do not deserve my hard earned money. read more

We were visiting and had not played bingo in years! She let us use her blotters to play and just asked that we return them when done. I was happy to win one so I could share some of the winnings. First things first, This review section when I started said Gordon J from San Francisco and that's not me, I am from Las Vegas, never lived in CA ever. Ok, I don't know why you don't allow machines. I think many of the people that play paper only don't like a person having so many cards. I remember being at one of the very big jackpots and this person won it had invested a lot of money like a 1000.00 or something and she one. But even if you pay 80.00 your going to get a lot of cards. So I am sure the people who play only paper don't like it. I on the other hand only play on machines. I go there to play and have fun and most importantly relax. I can't relax playing on paper as paper makes me work hard trying to daub and keep up. I am always behind. We really enjoy bingo at Sunset Station. They have a very friendly and attentive staff and excellent bar service. What a shame they recently reduced the coverall payouts at the 9AM and 5PM sessions by over 33% They didn't reduce the price of the tickets at all, only the coverall prizes. Now you're better off winning a regular game on level three for $150 than you would be to win the coverall on level one for $100 - much less if you have to split......I ended up with $34 the other day. Nothing to write home about. The level three coverall payout used to be $450 - now you only get $300 Still a fun place, but bingo players want bigger prizes, NOT 33% smaller ones. After chit chatting with the GF about her desire to play some Bingo, we decided to give it a shot. I have played any form of Bongo since using lima beans to mark spots in grade school. So we show up at the Sunset Station because Yelp says that this is the place to go. Not knowing what the hell we were supposed to do, the clerk patiently attempted to explain what our options were in buying into the game. We threw ourselves into it and walked over to a table carrying a bunch of papers with numbers on them. Next we paid a visit to the dauber vending machine and were ready to play. While waiting for the 3:00 game I rolled up to bar and while they only have domestic beer, I was happy to hear that it was free! When they game kicked off I was absolutely lost in the sauce and feeling a tad frustrated due to my lack of Bingo prowess. I thought that the experience would go the way of some church Bingo setting but was I wrong. The games go on and you have to figure it out as you stamp along. When it was all said and done, I was mentally exhausted and covered in dauber ink after playing 13 games in approximately 50 minutes. But I learned something............ Who where those people I saw chilling out enjoying their drinks staring at their little black boxes while I freaking out over whether I heard or saw letters and numbers?? They of whom I speak had paid a little extra for the electronic Bingo option. This excellent use of technology plays your cards on whatever game happens to be going on at the time. It will chirp at you when you are one away and sing a little tune when you Bingo. I don't know what Bingo purist think of the boxes but I did see some HARDCORE Bingo people playing the cards in addition to the Bingo boxes. So we stayed for the 5:00 game and though we did not win a damn thing we stared at our boxes all the while holding hands and enjoying our drinks. Now addicted to Zombie electronic Bingo we stayed for the 7:00 game. With each start time the room got progressively more crowded. But even with a packed house it was amazing how quiet the room. Only the sound of the caller, daubers, chirps and cheer of a winner or winners. Again we did not win a damn thing but did get see someone win $18,000. With my knowledge of Bingo houses being severely limited, I can only throw down four stars. With that being said it was a damn fun experience. read more

But it's funny because now it has gotten so bad, I prefer certain bingo rooms over others, based on no real criteria whatsoever. They are all pretty standard. People in their eighties, a large bingo board or two, a lady calling out the numbers, free donuts, etc. My friends and I stick out like sore thumbs, but it does not dissuade me. The Sunset Station bingo room is my favorite. All of the previous amenities (including the eighty-somethings) are included, but the room is much larger than most around town and they offer the cool electronic bingo screens. I don't like using these, I prefer using my cool Elvis dauber, but they are offered nonetheless. Before the game starts, you can stock up on a few free soft drinks or coffee, and there is a snack machine in case you need an energy boost in the middle of the session. Get there early for the best seating. Some of the seniors are ruthless when it comes to seating. I know there are tons of ways to gamble in Las Vegas, but Bingo is by far the best. You play for an hour and can gamble as little or as much as you want. I like to go big and spend about eight bucks, but please, limit yourself. HA! Anyway...Bingo is the new blackjack, I'm telling you. Game times are on the odd hours starting at 11 and ending at 9pm. Check online for the best progressive payouts. It was very cheap. Only $4 for the game at the cheapest. (Level 1) we went on a Sunday evening, wasn't crowded so more chances to win! My favorite was they offered free coffee, soda and alcohol. If you forget your dobber, they have vendig machines and its only a dollar! It was our first time playing here and they were really nice in explaining how it works.
