This recycling center is so convenient, it's right behind the food for less and I am usually in and out of the place within 5-10 mins! The workers are usually nice, I had questions about a sign they had up and I guess they now take carton wine boxes (still no cardboard tho). They provide me with a receipt of the total with everything broken out but I should've asked for a copy. Would recommend this spot! read more

The service was great and walked away with a good amount in cash for the recycles I took I would be returning

Sunset Recycling Center is the only place I will take my recycling! The young man who works there is very helpful, respectful and always willing to assist if you're new to recycling. I'm using Sunset for plastic products that my trash company won't recycle so drop off there. I've tried other recycling businesses closer to my home but I get more for my recycling products, Sunset is a better value for your recycling. Must Try!! read more

I've been coming here for the past year and in the beginning, there were a lot of staff on rotation. But recently, it seems to me that Mauricio is the one stationed here and I would not have it any other way! He is such a HUMBLE, polite, friendly, honest, and hardworking individual. I am referring everyone I know to get their recycling done here when Mauricio is around! Thank you Mauricio for being such a wonderful soul! read more

Hi Everyone This Review Has Been A While Coming As Iv Come Here More Then 3 Times Now Because When I Go I Bring ALOT Of Cans/Plastic&Glass! The Man Who Helps Me His Name Is Mauricio I Always Recommend Him As He Always Helps Me Out And Want The Habit Of Service To Be Just Right And Correct! Bad Prior Experience Where You Would Think Everyone Has The Same Position To Do The Same Thing But The Last Time I Came It Was A Younger Guy And Didn't Look Like How Mauricio Did It Let Me Explain I Had 15 Bags Of Different Items And He Put All The Plastic Together On The Receipt So Say For Example I Had 3 Full Containers Of Plastic At Different Weights All Those 3 Containers Of The Recycling Property Was Just 1 Section Vs The 3 Sections And I Did Not See The Weight For The Container On The Plastic Either!!! So That's 2 Problems! I Can Count On Just Having A Specific Person From Now On Because Now Im Paranoid!!! U Know How Long It Took Me To Get 15 Bags Of Glass/Plastic/Aluminium Cans A Good While!!!! Just Ask For Mauricio If You Come Here Guys! +The Thing About This Place Is The Containers Are Not The Heavy Ones Where All The Other Places Try To Screw You Over!!!!This Place Has Skinny Plastic Containers!!! So You Really Just Count What You Brought Vs The Recycling Places Containers!!! You'll See Them When You Get Here What Im Talking About! Give Mauricio Some Recognition Please Cause Hes The Guy You Can Rely On Here At This Place! read more

If you are looking for a local recycling place, look no further Sunset Recycling is the place! Conveniently located right off the 10 freeway and the Baldwin Park Blvd Exit, entrance right next to the freeway, if you blink you will miss it but it's ok, you can still get in through Taco Bell entrance. Great service, Mauricio was very friendly. Took the time to explain tags on the baskets and business hours, as weekends and weekdays differ. Just overall a great experience. This will be my new go to recycling place. I truly appreciate this business. It's kind of hidden behind Food 4 Less and taco bell. I was so surprised as to how much I got for my 4 little bags of cans and plastic bottles for $45! Great value. read more
