They have a lit area under the trees for cocktail hour and the reception took place inside the barn. It's everything you'd want in a barn wedding, wood details, barn doors, antique furniture. They have a bridal suite upstairs in the barn and a separate grooms house a little bit of a ways from the barn. It's a little bit out there in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the drive!

We used The Grove for our ceremony, however there are different areas you can use and they're all beautiful. The reception barn is rustic and so gorgeous in itself you don't have to use a lot of decor. Need decor!? No problem, this place has a plethora of decor you have access to. Kalli has a list of vendors she recommends and they too, did not disappoint!! SCR is not only affordable, you get the entire weekend. We decorated the day before and it was so nice and took stress away to be able to get that completed and not rush the day of. We were able to spend the day of wedding just getting ready and I, just enjoyed spending the day with my daughter. If this venue isn't close to you they have you covered there as well. Less than 1/2 a mile is Wildcatter Ranch and we had a wonderful stay there. Another plus to this venue is there are 2 bridal suites. We were able to get ready and hang out in one and the other was a beautiful location for bridal pictures. We did not have to rush around and clean to take pictures. There was a few rockers on the front porch and a fire pit with more seating not too far away. We spent most of the day in a community room with full kitchen, bathrooms and a bar area. It was a great space for our group. Lots of parking outside and lots of things to do outside as well. The place was clean and welcoming. There were several houses that you can rent as well, instead of having twin sized beds. Beautiful place!

This young couple decided if they couldn't find another soon, they were gonna cancel everything and do a quickie run in Vegas. My GD is lucky she has the best MOH: she was the one who found this spot. It really is beautiful. The open green area. The perfectly situated seating area for the ceremony. The beautifully spaced outdoor area for dranks and apps. And inside, a private area upstairs where the bride and her court can prepare for the event. Plenty of room for the bar area (fridge is provided) as well as for a buffet dining style. And the overall lighting (since it's an evening event) was perfect. And the good thing about the venue change?! Those who saw the first place didn't like it to begin with, saying this place was waaaaaaaayyy better. TIP: This venue only provides the venue. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
