A disaster from start to finish. The only GOOD thing about this company is that our driver was a very nice man. So sorry to him for this poor review, but he is their only saving grace. Why was this such a poor experience? Let me itemize the list for you:
1. After my initial email contacting them, I had two different people going back and forth with me in the same chain. They quoted me for my request of "transporation for 8 girls in a bachelorette party" without asking what kind of vehicle I was requesting. In fairness, I did not say "bus" or "limo" in my initial email, but I DID use the word BUS throughout the entire rest of the chain so if that was incorrect they should have stated it.
2. They asked me multiple times for the same information on my phone number and address when it was clearly already in the email chain...completely unorganized
3. When I found out what they were trying to rent me was a CONVERSION VAN and not a bus, I asked them to please do a limo instead..which they did...for $100 more...even after I expressed that I had been under the impression the ENTIRE TIME that we were getting a bus
4. The driver was half an hour late - not completely his fault because we were at the
Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells and I told him Door 3, but apparently there are two Door 3's. As I said, he was very nice, but in any case he did not even call until 11:10 when our pickup time was 11 SHARP and by the time he actually found us it was 11:30, so we had to push back all our reservations at the last minute.
5. They told me pop and water would be provided in the limo. When I opened the compartment there were 3 smashed up cans of pop that looked like they pulled them out of a 1960's garbage can because they were so old and had some sort of strange residue on them.
6. They told me they were going to charge a $100 security deposit on my card a week prior to pickup and never did. The remainder was supposed to be charged day-of, which it wasn't. And when they DID finally charge me AFTER I SIGNED A CONTRACT that stated the amount owed, they tried to charge me $100 more than what was on the contract. They tried to tell me that was the price with the security deposit they never charged me..Um no, look at the contract it says the total right there..AND...I even emailed to ask them SPECIFICALLY to confirm the total on the contract and they said yes.
The ONLY reason this company even deserves 2 stars is because of the nice driver who drove back to the restaurant to pick up my scarf for me while we were out on our adventure.
Sunset Limo - you need to get your lives together. Have a single point of contact. Pay attention to what customers want and ask the right questions. Be more professional. Be on time. DO BETTER. read more
