2025 Ford F 150 Raptor

I had talked to other dealers (and was lied too by others) so when I went to Sunset I was so shocked that they were not pushy and they had a tremendous selection. Although they couldn't match the phantom price from the other dealers, they were straight up front about it. I would definitely recommend Eddie @ Sunset Ford!

An individual who has responded to my message and is claiming to be James H but has given a telephone number with a voicemail to a Justin.

Update 1: This is day 2 that I have yet to receive requested maintenance records from Sunset Ford to submit to my Warranty Company. I'm guessing that the Erin chick is still not able to leave her desk as she told me on the morning of 03/07/2023? All I asked for was an email to be sent to me, nothing fancy. I even contacted 2 managers and left voicemails about my experience but have yet to receive any type of response. Just recently there was a JAMES H who had responded with remorse of my experience and said that I could contact him personally to discuss the issue. I called the number he provided and the name on the voicemail wasn't James, it was Justin! WTF is going on with customer service now a days? I'm sure this JAMES H person was hired for damage control, but this business (SUNSET FORD) wouldn't need damage control if they handled business differently and stop blowing off the customer with lies and laziness! I will post another update tomorrow. Hopefully they will have allowed Erin to leave her desk at that time?!

I'm always skeptical of car salesmen and car dealerships. That being said, I can't even begin to tell you what a good experience I had at Sunset Ford while buying my new Ford Escape. First of all my salesperson Brad was attentive without being annoying and knew answers to almost my questions. If he didn't know the answer, he admitted it and found out the answer for me. I felt that he was more interested in what was best for me and not just focusing on getting a commission for the sale. I felt like he really cared and was looking out for my best interests. Everyone was pleasant and smiling and easy to work with. I was very happy with the ease of the entire experience. Additionally, Larry Sidberry, the manager was extremely easy going and again was looking out for my best interests. He was very intuitive and made me feel at ease while taking care of the paperwork. He's a true professional and clearly knows customers service. I can see why the salespeople enjoy working here with it for him. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my car buying experience here at Sunset Ford and would give them my highest recommendation. Bravo!

This is the advertised price online.

Bottom Line: Established location, helpful customer service…read moreuntil yesterday's experience, reasonable prices. Overview: This location has served this area for as long as I can remember. The location sits in a strip mall and has convenient parking. Customer Service: In the past, I have been pleased with the customer service I received at this location. I do not frequent this store often, but only to get wiper blades and other minor auto parts. I like the fact that I do not have to buy the whole blade assembly, but just the blade itself. Maybe this is common, I am not 100% sure. I guess since I originally dealt with SouthCo Auto Parts in Affton, which was a CarQuest shop, I continue to patronize the chain. On this particular occasion, I did need all of the wiper blade assembly. Unfortunately, things did not go smoothly. Here is what took place: I called the store asking for a specific part number. It was for a wiper blade refill. Next, I asked if they had the whole assembly for that part, including the blade. The person on the phone starts asking me the year of my car, make and model, etc. Honestly, I gave the person the part number for the wiper blade refill. I am asking that they find the assembly that holds that specific blade. In any case, I arrive at the store and there are three men with CarQuest shirts on. The one is on the phone at a computer, the other two are standing around. The one sees me come in and points to the man on the phone, "talk to him". I wait for about 30 seconds and one of the men says, "What you need?". The man on the phone says, "Show him the Bosch". I know that Bosch is a more expensive part. In any case, the man directs me to the wiper blades and we discuss which blade is best. The man on the phone interrupts us by raising his voice, at this point, because we are far from the counter. Here is what took place after that: Counter Man who was on phone: (yelling) "Did you get the Bosch?" Me: (yelling) "I don't want the Bosch." Counter Man who was on phone: (yelling) "That's what fits your car. It's $10.99." Me: (yelling) "That is too expensive! A penny saved is a penny earned, right?" After locating the blade assemblies I needed, I check out with this man who is yelling. I decided to avoid further argument. I pay for my parts and leave. I noticed that the man's name tag said "Larry" on it. I think what bothers me most is there were three able bodies, and I was waiting for only one to wait on me. And that person was occupied on the phone. Also, he was trying to push a more expensive part on me. I find that offensive. Summary: There are many choices for auto parts in this area. Hopefully, yesterday's visit will be an exception rather than the typical for others. However, I am withholding my judgement for now. As an aside, I sent this account above to CarQuest's corporate customer feedback today (08.21.14). I am awaiting their reply. I will update my review with their response.

Their workmanship is consistently top-notch -- clean, professional, and exactly what you want when you're trusting someone with your vehicle. What I appreciate most is how they treat their customers. They take the time to explain options, answer questions, and make sure everything is perfect before you leave. It's rare to find a place that combines great customer service with flawless results, but Dalo Motoring does it every time. Highly recommend. I won't go anywhere else for tint or auto glass work.

When I arrived, they told me their computer system had lost all customer records and that I would need to provide my receipt. Since the work was done back in 2014, I wasn't sure if I still had it. They told me I would have to pay to have it redone. At that point, At that point, I felt the situation was not being handled professionally. I told them that if I had to pay again, I would rather take my business elsewhere. That was not meant to be personal -- it was simply a business decision. Instead of handling it professionally, they became offended and told me I needed to "learn some manners." Surprisingly, I later found my original receipt and brought it back to them. Even after providing proof, I still told them I would rather do business elsewhere because of how the situation was handled. The employee seemed upset, made some comments I didn't care to engage with, he crumbled up the receipt and threw it away, and I left. Overall, the customer service was very poor. A lifetime warranty should be honored professionally, especially when proof is provided. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
