I've purchased numerous tanning packages here over the past eight years spending hundreds of bucks to deal with winter time seborrhea. I purchased a four tanning package on December 17, 2024, returning a few weeks later to find the business closed with "under renovations" signs in the windows. Lori, the owner sold me the tanning package. I stopped by a couple weeks ago to find the business open with a new name. I presented my receipt of the unused tanning sessions and was told they would not honor it. The women explained that it was a new business non longer owned by a "LorI." hey would not provide me with anymore info on her or the transfer or sale of the business. I was then interrupted by a women seated behind me who said God would figure it out. Ive filed a complaint with the AG';s office as others with unused tanning sessions should do. Lori ripped us off, masquerading the business as under renovation when in fact Sunsational was out of out of business. read more

The woman who opened was very rude. I am a student at the driving school next door and she aggressively told us that we could not stand in front of the door. In our defense the salon was still closed so we didn't think it would be an issue. Which was fine that she wanted us to move but she had an attitude towards us for no reason. She could have asked us to move nicely and there would have been no problem. read more

The girls here are super helpful and knowledgeable about all things tan. They are always willing to give you honest advice about products, levels for the beds and time you should tan for and have helped me go from pale to natural tan looking quickly and have helped me keep it up. Nice salon with good prices and average beds and booths. It's cheaper than most places on cape and it's clean. I trust most of the girls clean the beds and booths pretty throughly however I'm almost positive I've been put in a dirty or barley cleaned bed before. I used to come here all the time but have decided to go else where because they very often close early or aren't open at all. This is so frustrating when I drive nearly 25 minutes to tan and they will end up being closed 45 minutes early!! I understand coming at the end of the day is a pain but hey most people prefer to tan after work around 6 PM am I wrong? Closing at 6:10 is really annoying. I walked in at 6:40pm right before they closed. This girl Tayla Monteiro ( not sure how to spell her name exactly), did not ask what kind of service I was looking for and start telling me she only had two available booths available. i told her I wanted to know what were my options for the umlimited month plans with the best booth possible. She rudely told me what she had available at 6:44pm!!!! I told her she needs to learn how to talk to customers politely. I asked for the owner info, she would not tell me the name, and told me to leave. I work with sales and never would have treated a customer like that. She mentioned it was under new management. ps:: If you own this place and you want to see good reviews about your business, tell this lady greeting your customers to first smile and be kind! No one will be happy paying $109,00 a month with that type of greeting! read more

Under new ownership, this place has become my go to when I visit from Boston! Super clean, friendly and affordable. If you are looking for twisted bulbs or super high intensity booths, this won't be your spot but having personally been a level four and up tanner, I still get a great tan here because they installed fresh bulbs and the beds are still great. I will never go back to this place. I purchased a tanning package and went for a spray tan only to have the machine stop half way and miss spraying both my forearms. I immediately went home and exfoliated it off. I did not want to be two different shades before my graduation. The owner refused to give me a refund, I am disappointed and I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Well awful is an understatement. Had a big event coming up and wanted to get a tan quick.. Went in and the owner gave me the worst spray tan I'd ever gotten. I figured since she was the owner it was going to be the best. I was absolutely wrong. I'm not one to complain but after my experience I think everyone should be aware that this place is not worth your money or your time. read more
