Dirty van with leaky moonroof....it rained for…read morepart or all of the day 5 of the 6 days and at times we couldn't mop up the water in the vehicle fast enough to keep the seats dry. While Our driver Ian was very knowledgeable he was not a good driver. He drove recklessly speeding on wet windy narrow roads, passing multiple vehicles in an unsafe manner for the weather and road conditions putting his 6 passengers in danger many times. He unexpectedly cancelled our afternoon excursion and walked off the tour on Day 3 when he was repeatedly asked to slow down. Limited communication from his boss Gabriel when we tried to resolve the situation. We skipped one scheduled stop at Cashel Rock which was prepaid in our package. We arrived 30 minutes after closing to Bunratty Castle. Given this company advertises a luxury custom tour, our experience was the complete opposite. Paid top dollar for a less than ideal experience without any response or even an offer of a partial refund.

I booked my first holiday with them at their branch on Mary St. Whilst this branch is very very handy for people who tend to frequent Henry St/O'Connell St, it is a small branch and can be rather uncomfortable if you happen to be waiting in a queue, which happened me once. However their splendid array of holiday brochures kept me from walking out and also bagged them more business as my Mum booked a holiday from a brochure I brought home :-)

And a finer gentleman you would be hard pressed to meet. He was always right on time, had many facts and stories to tell as we drove around Ireland. He also encapsulated the Irish wit and humor. in short, we have adopted him into our family. We had such a good time. He had some good recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Ten out of ten. The tour guides at the Somme Valley and Normandy beaches really knew their stuff. The hotel food at the stop-over in Rouen wasn't brilliant. But on the motorway hotels both in France and in the Holiday Inn, near Birmingham, it was superb. For anyone with an interest in WW1 and WW2 it's a must.

Excellent service from GoBus!! I booked on their webpage which was easy and gave plenty of options…read morefor my flight arrival/departure into Dublin so I could catch the bus to Galway. My flight arrived early and I managed to catch an earlier bus which was a lifesaver as it was cold and I wanted to get to Galway to see the Xmas Market. The driver was very helpful with my baggage and advising about the walk to the hotel in Galway once we arrived. Everyone on the bus was friendly and it soon filled up with shoppers in the Dublin town centre stop. I didn't use the toilet but there is one and other passengers used it. The return trip was just as good, friendly driver again, and the bus was quite empty so plenty of room to spread out. I would definitely recommend the GoBus service, it is competitively priced, easy to get to in both Dublin Airport and in Galway, easy to book and pay for online and as a solo female traveller it felt extremely safe and friendly.

But at least they do travel deals to Australia that are better than most other travel agents. I went in here recently with a mate who was buying a trip for him and his girlfriend, the staff were peppy and he got a deal but in the back of my mind I felt he might have been able to get a better deal if he had booked himself online. But I think the internet has the answer to every financial dilemma.
