I had done some research beforehand and decided to contact ABK. The service that we received was exceptional. Everyone with whom we had contact was professional and efficient. A technician was sent to our home in a very timely manner. Multiple fans were positioned and they ran all weekend. On Friday morning, the project manager visited our home to assess the situation. Today the technician came to remove the fans and repeat the moisture test. No trace of moisture from the water leak. Many thanks to Sabrina, Kevin and Rob for outstanding service.

I used the yellow pages to contact a restoration company, the first company I called was unable to respond in a timely manner and then I called ABK Restoration. I was so pleased they responded within 20 minutes to attend to the issue. The two people began immediately taking away all the soaked insulation. They dealt very professionally with my elderly parent, which I appreciated greatly because she was deaf and also very anxious about the situation. I was so impressed with their service there was no hesitation to call them a year later with the hot water tank break. More recently while house sitting for a neighbour over the winter her basement flooded due to freezing temperatures. I contacted my snowbird neighbour in Arizona and she contacted ABK on my recommendation. She dealt with them long distance over the course of the entire project of repairing and was extremely pleased with her experience from start to finish.

    Work was started on my project in February 2025 and is still ongoing 14 months later in April of…read more2026. I was promised a 4 to 6 week start to finish on this job. Juan's and his workers were rude and incompetent. Juan was often rude and one time was actively hostile and acted like he wanted to fight me. Juan's workers told me they had never done floors before. His workers continuously made mistakes (not cutting the flooring correctly, they had to buy extra materials because of mistakes, not using the correct tools, hiding mistakes, causing more damage, spilling stain in my concrete , not cleaning up their messes, leaving front door open three times when they left), they were often hours late or would not show up at all while I waited around all day with no one following up with me, eventually Juan avoided all my texts and calls as well as Broughtons. Juan was openly hostile on one instance acting like he wanted to fight after he had to fix a damage that did to my counters I had told Broughton numerous times that I was uncomfortable with Juan and his workers because of all the incidents but he said Juan had already been paid so Juan needed to fix the work. Broughton told me there would be no further payments needed from me if we continued to use Juan's company to finish and we only partially fixed mistakes and didn't have to redo the entire flooring and baseboards and I didn't leave a bad review, BBB complaint or complain to the insurance company or the owners of the company. Broughton later had told me that Juan had been lying to him and Juan stopped returning his calls then Broughton stopped responding to my texts and calls so after 2 months of no contact I reached out to other companies for estimates to fix the job that AllKlean had not finished. If Broughton and Juan were fired why did no one from All Klein ever contact me? Even during and after I hired the Idaho handyman to repair some of the work that left damages to my house, no one from AllKlean ever contacted me to check up or follow up. Broughton left the job unfinished and my new floors, baseboards etc damaged, with material left in my garage taking up needed space, my bathroom was left with the sink and toilet unattached for months until I hired someone to make my bathroom usable and my furniture in the garage or out of place because there was no flooring or damaged flooring in parts of my house. I hired the Idaho handyman to finish the job since no-one from AllKlean Klean would call me back and fix these issues, who said they can only do a "Bandaid" repair the replace entire flooring and baseboards to complete the job properly. The employee of the Idaho Handyman who did repairs wife works in AllKleans billing department. 3 other companies that came that give me a estimate to complete the job that AllKlean was supposed to do said it the entirety of the floors and baseboards and bathroom sink had to be replaced to fix properly. In October 2025 I received a final bill even though the work was not completed. I called and told the female in the billing department that answered the phone that work was not done. She put me in touch with the person that took over for Broughton. This person told me not to pay anything until after he and the GM came out and inspected the work that was done and both he and the GM would come to my house to inspect the job. Neither he nor the GM came out or called me to inspect the floors etc.. I called back after a week of not hearing from anyone and was told by a female from the billing department that she couldn't get ahold of the person in charge of my account but she would leave a message for him to call me. I never received any sort of correspondence from anyone regarding my job until the end of April 2026 where I received yet another bill saying that the work was completed (it's not complete after more than a year). I called Stephanie from the billing department and explained to her what was going on. She apologized and put me in touch with the guy that is charge of my job. I told him what was going on and he said that both him and the GM would come out this week to inspect the job. Which ironically is exactly what was told to me in October of 2025 and no one ever reached out to me or came by then. I understand that both Juan and Broughton were fired for the incompetent work they did. Since Broughton was fired why did no one from AllKlean ever reach out to me to regarding my job? I received no voice mails or emails or texts from anyone other than the billing department since Broughton was fired. I talked to the new person that replaced Broughton to oversee my job twice in the 8 or so months since Broughton was fired and both times it was I that reached out to him both times after I received bills that the job was done when it isn't done.

Once it was discovered, Winmar was very quick to…read morerespond and to communicate with me what was happening and how it was being addressed.  They were very prompt, professional throughout the whole process.   Being that we were away, it was even more important to have great communication for ease of mind.   The pack out and pack in team was beyond amazing.  We arrived back into Canada at the peak of the Covid Pandemic.  Forcing us to go directly into 14 day quarantine.  They were so helpful with getting a few things packed and dropped off for us at the Airbnb we had to direct go live in during our quarantine.  These were very uncertain times and they made this extra hard process painless. Have a flood and being displaced is no joke,  try having to go through this  during the Covid19 pandemic???   The team at Winmar put my mind at ease helping me every step of the way restoring my home after the flood. From day 1 the team was beyond helpful, kind, understanding and reassuring.

I called Emergency Remediation Services and they were here in no time at all setting up fans and dehumidifiers and assessing where all the unseen damage was. They had every needed trade on call from electrical to plumbers who showed up at the drop of a dime. The craftsman and laborers that they had on the job all showed up wearing masks and were so polite and understanding with the stress we were under. Their skill at drywall and deconstruction and then construction in general is unmatched! Dealing with insurance companies is never a fun thing but Chad (the owner) is so good at talking their language and helping us navigate the claims process. This would not have been possible without Chad and his crew! Our house looks better than before the flood damage. I would highly recommend Emergency Remediation Services to anybody!

For the $25K they were paid, the work was not up to par! The crew was sloppy and inconsiderate of my home and property. None of my things were covered during the remodel, nor was a barrier put up to prevent dust and debris from going EVERYWHERE!!! I was promised a cleaning service upon completion, but that was never fulfilled. I'm STILL cleaning up drywall dust and dried mud from furniture, floors, etc. Thet removed trim that wasn't replaced. They ordered the wrong swing on 3 out of 4 replacement doors! No communication during the length of time they were working. I never knew when they were coming or not. Update: I posted this exact review on Emergency Remediation Services FB site, I was immediately threatened to remove it or face defamation suit! Mr. Chad Demmit (owner/operator) was inappropriately rude and nasty, calling me a "wretched human being " and telling me to "F" off! So unbelievably unprofessional!

We have moved , the whole team was amazing , packed up so well, we thought it was almost overkill. We also had flood damage and all the correct procedures and care was taken to our property, and the clean up was amazing. The girl running her crew was on time, precise and listened to any concerns we had. Our friends have also used this company and the same great results . They do put the customer first. It's only human but I must say inhuman when people have lost things by flood or fire, and in such distress always feel the need to blame people who are just trying to help . So here's for everyone.     On January 3rd, my neighbour's unit flooded, and that spread to mine. The damage to my possessions…read morewas minimal, but then the fun began. Total Restoration left the industrial dehumidifyers in my place for over a month; my understanding is that is not the industry standard but rather a way to get extra money out of the insurers. They took 2/3 of my flooring out, in January, so I walked on very cold concrete in most of my spaces all winter. At about 12 weeks in, they finally said they would get a storage unit and move my boxed up books and other items sitting on the floor out of the way so I could be more comfortable. That was three weeks ago, and the book boxes are still in a pyramid in my living room. It's been 16 weeks since the flood and my $6000 built-ins still haven't been replaced, I still have no baseboards or floors, and they haven't even done the mold abatement yet. Total Restoration also piled so much stuff into my bedroom closet to get it out of the way, that my closet collapsed, and now I need a new closet that will take 4-8 weeks and over $1000 before installation. They never initiate communication, and weeks can go by before they respond to my emails and phone messages. For the first two months I was patient, and I would make calm inquiries by phone and email. Now I'm just angry. Nothing has been done, it is the end of April, and because of supply chain issues, even if they ordered floors tomorrow, my guests in July are still going to be walking on concrete.
