I contacted sunrise marine to see how much they would offer for my fishing boat the salesman told me 4000.00 boats worth 6500.00 even sent his offer 2 me on text message, then he had his inventory guy call offered me 2500.00 for a all weld 16' boat yamaha 4 stroke 25hp with power trim and a terrova trolling motor and live scope on board. I would have taken the 4000.00 like they agreed but they obviously can not be honest and can not keep their word. Overpriced anyway. read more

I bought a new boat from Sunrise including lithium batteries and on board charger. I supplied the trolling motor for them to mount. My remote was lost by the shop and pins for kicking Jack plate were lost. No apology, offer to get pins or sell a new remote at their cost! Nothing!!! Crickets!!! The transaction took place during the recent ice storm, we had severe damage at our place in MS so was unable to pick up the boat but I had already paid for everything including the boat! I asked about leaving the boat there until I could pick it up, they said that was fine. I asked about lost Ultrex remote and pins and I was told the boat sat there too long!!! Funny how this was spun to be my fault when the pins should have been put in Jack plate and remote put in storage box! I won't buy from them again and won't recommend them to others! I drove 2.5 hours to buy from them, never again!!! read more

Sunrise sold us a used lemon boat motor..the part it needs is impossible to find since they don't make it anymore- according to another boat mechanic... we can't even resale it in good conscience...i didn't write a review at the time, so here it is... 1/5 for bad business and bullying other business women- At the Christmas for Kids event today, running off Lindsey, the owner of sweet cheeks expresso... she's literally the nicest business owner in town! Everyone go buy her coffee!!! Yall messed up on this one guys... Searcy is big mad at your boat mechanic skills and more importantly, your HATE. I'm sure this impacted the amount of presents you received for the kids... but it was never even about the kids... it's a sales event and clout in the community.. period. If it were for the kids, ALL kids would have been welcome not just the rich ones who can afford to bring TOYS! Most people can't afford a toy right now which is the whole point. Bought 2025 yamaha 25hp outboard motor. It has terrible vibration they say is normal. I have owned at least 25 motors none have vibrated like this one is doing They will not do anything about it. read more

I saw a boat on their website, filled out the application for that specific boat, and waited a few days for them to be open. Moments after they opened, I received alerts that someone ran my credit. I received a call saying the boat I requested was already sold. I asked why they ran my credit if the boat was no longer available. He said thats just what we do. Seems like they went out of their way to make sure this disabled veteran doesn't get a boat. read more

Very small selection of hunting and outdoor gear, they have a few hunting blinds, calls, ammo, etc but its like three tiny aisles of stuff, not much of an outdoors store like they claim, they have a decent collection of guns ranging from revolvers to rifles, but they charge 50-75 bucks more for Every gun in their than similiar stores in the area, their gunsmith is in their one day a week on Saturday and he does top notch work, but one day a week leaves a long wait if multiple people need work, they sell War Eagle, G3, And Excel boats their, but the sales staff is horrible, I went with every intention on buying a boat, I had 11,000 cash to spend, and or whatever reason, I was shown no interest even after I asked about a few different boats they had on the lot, it wasn't until I got up and sat in one did someone pay any attention, and that was just to tell me to get out of the boat I had intentions on buying. That same day I drove up to White River outdoors, paid 9500 for a brand new boat, with a better warranty, and higher quality Xpress Boat. My friend ended up spending 11,500 on a cheaply made G3 boat and he has had nothing but trouble out of them. Dont waste your time with these clowns read more

We bought a used boat. I realize there is no recourse when buying used. The sales people told us there was nothing wrong with the boat, everything worked. The exterior of the boat was good, the seats and carpeting were well kept. The bilge pump, aerator for the live well, motor, everything, according to the sales people was in working order. When we got the boat home, the motor would not run well. We took out the spark plugs to check them. They had oil on them. I opened the battery/gas compartment and discovered a thrown mouse trap. The bilge pump, which Kyle said he had checked, would not work. The aerator, which he also said he had heard working, did not work. We took it to a boat mechanic. He did a turn up on the motor, put in new plugs. He found that the fuse was blown for the bilge. How did they check it? He found the aerator did not work, he fixed it. He also found a lot of loose wires which he had not explanation for. He made sure those that were needed were properly wired so that there would not be a fire and disconnected the mess someone had tried to rewire with. After spending a bit over $300 to get the 'lake ready boat' safe and ready for use, I wrote Sunrise enclosing a copy of the bill. I have heard nothing since that letter (over a month). We were charged for things they obviously did not do. Be careful when dealing with this company. They will promise and tell you anything to sell but don't stand by their word. We have worked on this boat for over a month getting it safe and ready for use. Yes, it was used, but supposedly their technicians had looked it over......and left the mouse trap in the boat. I hope we enjoy it after all the trouble it has been. read more
