Had to break out the ole umbrella and walk an arduous walk that had me singing "Let It Go" from Frozen as I climbed the stairs up to the front door! After I was finished, I went to the coffee spot. I was recently hospitalized there for 8 days, and had been there a few times for coffee and snacks, etc... It's a great little spot and company! They have a wide variety of seasonal blends and a good variety of syrups (nice selection of sugar free- which I use!). They offer plant based milks as well, and the food choices are very fresh, organic and natural! Ask for Finley!!! She recognized me from my stay, knew me by name, and told me how beautiful I looked! I was pretty sick when I was there before. She really cared and remembered me well. This impressed me! She even remembered what I ordered last! They have a nice rewards program and a great selection! If Lettuce Indulge was in my hometown, it would be my number one hangout coffee shop. I don't have a coffee taster's vocabulary - But this was a non-burnt, non-heavy, complicated, intriguing brew. It was not like any coffee I had had in a long time. * * * The chicken bowl beat the stupid stuff Starbucks sells you for lunch easily. My home coffee shops vary in the quality of their kitchens. There are some sandwiches and salads to die for. There is also a lot of mediocre stuff that makes Starbucks lunch look good. If my chicken bowl had been rated on an Austin scale from 1 to 10, It would have been a solid 8. I would be happy to eat that over and over and over again. * * * The room is fine. The folks who work there are super super friendly and super super nice. * * * The establishment closes on Sundays ...
