I felt a bit badly that it seemed like the woman giving the massages was also handling the front desk, but she had smooth system that worked our pretty well. When she finished with the last person showed me my room and then went back out to finish their payment. I thought the pressure and style was good for what I requested. I said I was ok with deep tissue, but I think she went a bit lighter it being my first time there. I thought it a bit odd that they didn't do any questions initially, but I also know most masseuse's can tell what your body needs so I usually leave it up to them to work on what needs to be done. Though I thought she went light on me, I had my typical response of being a bit sore the next day, but I just kept hydrating and moving. Overall I had a positive experience though it wasn't exactly what I'd expected.

Inside, there's a simple but comfortable waiting room. My reflexologist Mary Ann welcomed me warmly and since it was my first time, told me about reflexology and how it works. She asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to work on, and got started. My feet are usually so ticklish, but they weren't at all during the session! Throughout, Mary Ann told me which pressure points correlated to which parts of the body - so fascinating. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much. At the end, Mary Ann even showed me which parts of my hand I can press on myself when I'm feeling tension in certain areas.
