Rittenhouse Square, Penn Center

It's an average gas station with a mediocre mini-market. The only reason I return to this place is…read morethat they have a Subway. This Sunoco is located in a nice area with shops nearby. It is conveniently located near Rittenhouse Square, The Schuylkill trail and 30th Street Station. The only reason I prefer this place over other gas stations is that they have a Subway. It is just like a regular one with the fresh ingredients and good sandwiches. They don't really have a sit down area though. The gas here is a bit pricey, but at least they got rid of the TVs, which used to be loud and annoying.

This is my local gas station, and regretfully so. Often, a good handful of the 16 pumps are…read moreunavailable for use for one reason or another. Sometimes they don't even mark them as unavailable or broken, and you find out only after going all the way through the pre-fill process. In the warmer months, you can find folks out here offering to re-rack your gas pump so that they can not fully re-rack it and then invite their friends to fill up on your card. Do be careful and only return your pump yourself, no matter how friendly the offer. The 7-Eleven itself is slightly below average in cleanliness, and honestly I haven't checked it out that much because I'm too wary of leaving my car unattended when I come here to fill up on my own. Will I still come here to fill up? Yes, since the alternative for me is going out to West Philadelphia and this is good enough. But not a great place to go if you can avoid it.

So Wawa is the best! This location is the first stop out of Philly into Jersey for us every single…read moretime. Today was no different. Red eye flight and needing breakfast at about 7ish. Not too busy on a Tuesday morning. Sizzli hot box semi full. Got my normal Pork Roll, egg and cheese on a bagel and a large iced salted caramel cold brew. We pay and eat in the car before heading over the bridge. My coffee was horrible. Bitter. My Sizzli Bagel, even thought it was hot and looked like a beautiful sight to my eyes, my taste buds said otherwise. This sandwich had a weird off taste. Pork Roll is my go to breakfast meat! Love the stuff. Not today. I ate the top of the bagel and threw the rest away. Coffee wasn't much better. Wawa what's happening to you?

Wow. The line was incredible. And the bathroom was a workout for me. Why can't both stalls be…read moreaccessible? Or let's make them all family bathrooms - gender neutral and big enough for a parent and several kids. It was a tight squeeze for me to use the small stall. Couldn't fit my wheelchair all the way in, which meant no closing the stall door. Yes the chair blocks part of the view and provides SOME privacy, but why should it be susceptible that people who use wheelchairs should have to accept a lesser privacy level than able-bodied people? Especially when wheelchairsxare forced into these situations so frequently because people without mobility aids are in the sccessible stall? Im glad I wasn't hurt, transferring to the toilet, by banging my hip on the toilet paper dispenser or something. That's just luck and practice though. If you have to pee really bad. Take your chances, but otherwise avoid.
