Now that my company vichele will be going passed this station, it is worth stopping here near the end of my shift. I find it very convenient as; well, as grabbing a snack should I need it. The store is small, but they do have the usual junk food one would need when on the road. You are within walking distance from the Silverline Metro and Bus Station. You can also spend sometime inside Tyson Corner Mall or Tyson's Galleria while waiting for your car to be serviced. Yesterday the cost of regular fuel was $3.59 a gallon. Now the cost has dropped back to $3.49 a gallon. A good price my employer will like. The area is really developing and Tyson's III is in the works. I look forward to writing a review on the place when it opens. For a least 3 to 6 week ( If not longer) I and my colleagues will be using this gas station for our company vichele. The pumps work great and appear to be well treated. I haven't had much interactions with the staff, so I will leave this section out of the review. I will follow up on that part for another time.

It works in a pinch. The gas prices are high, but not in the outrageous area. Mobil has done well…read morefor years. This location has modern pumps, that do seem to speed up the process. Also I like the vacuum cleaner here, as it takes care of debris and other grime. That can be a game changer with kids. The employees here are attentive. I like how easy it is to get in and out of here. Large pickup owners will like the space amounts provided. It's a good spot and works in my opinion. Shop around obviously. The convenience store has only the basics, so go elsewhere if looking for more.

First of all, this gas station is way over priced compared to others. Second of all, the gentleman…read morethey have working is one of the rudest people I've ever met!!! I hope & pray that Shell addresses this employee's scary, aggressive & offensive behavior. I fueled up, used my credit card at the pump, hung up my fuel pump & left my station in perfect condition; everything was fine and dandy. I started to drive away & the attendant comes screaming at me because there's a fuel pump on the ground but I did not drop it on the ground but he's blaming it on me and calling me a liar and literally in my face harassing me! WHOA!!! I have never felt so threaded before & the audacity to get up in my face yelling at me WOW! So disrespectful! I hate to say it but he did have a very thick accent so maybe he & his culture thinks less of women, I don't know, but never have I experienced anything so off-putting as this & I highly doubt he would do that to a man! I cannot recommend supporting this local business if this is the way they treat customers & think it's OK to yell at people & make them feel inferior. Go get your gas somewhere else!!!!!!! FYI Shell Corp - I was here on Friday, September 3 at 3:45pm. I have to add that sadly this seems to be the norm here from reading other reviews.

It's easy to get to off of the toll road and easy to sneak around Chain Bridge to get back onto the hot lanes. Prices are reasonable for the area and the pumps seem to be well maintained. It's nothing fancy, but it's A-OK with me!

Advice: have a dealership telling you that you need thousands in car fixes? Come here before you…read moresign off. Due to a Honda recall, I dropped my car off across the street at the Honda dealership. I received a call saying my timing belt was rotted, I had multiple oils leaks, water pump problems, and more! All totaling about $2,900. I promptly called Schmitz's on the recommendation of a coworker and explained the situation. Al assured me that I could bring it by when Honda was done and he would review the quote and give me an honest answer on what my car actually needed. Later that afternoon, I dropped my car off and went over the list with Al. He went out with me to take a look under the hood, kindly showing me that my car doesn't even have a timing belt! The serpentine belt and timing chain were clearly fine. I went back to work and got a call about an hour later with a recommendation on two things to fix now and a couple to keep an eye out on over the next two years. It was fixed by the end of the day. He could have taken Honda's quote and said yep that is all true and charged me just a little less. But instead Al took the time to show and explain, thoroughly "diagnose" my car, and handle it all in a couple of hours. By the way, it cost me less than $500. I will 100% be back when my car needs it.

Very Disappointing experience. I usually am never one to complain and usually am the one to accept…read morethe fact that I can be at fault but the way I was treated was totally humiliating. The cashier made me feel embarrassed and shamed me for being clueless. I was only confused because I know the other usual workers there and I get along with them just fine and they usually let me slide with a few packets of hot sauce, so I was confused as to how this situation was any different. Not only was I treated in a rudely manner but was also shamed in front of other customers over taking a few packets of hot sauce. I genuinely didn't understand that I was doing anything wrong, and I apologized, but instead of calmly explaining the policy, he yelled at me and shamed me. Another customer even joined in, and even after I explained my misunderstanding, they continued mocking me behind my back as I left. Mistakes or misunderstandings should be handled respectfully, not through public humiliation. I won't be returning to this location.
