Several years ago, I tried to fill the air in my tires here. The machine happily took my money. And nothing happened. So I asked the employee if the machine was broken. With no hesitation, they said yes. I asked if they could refund the money I had put in, and they said no. When I asked why they had not put a sign on the machine, they made it clear that they would not do that. Was communicating with customers that unreasonable a request? I decided never to go there again, even though it is the most convenient station on my daily drive. Cut to today. I needed gas and thought I would give them another try, because who doesn't deserve a second chance? Other cars were getting gas, so I figured everything would be okay. I pulled up to the pump, put my card in, and waited. And waited. After about five minutes, I walked into the store and asked if there was a problem on Pump 7. No, no problem! So I went back out. And waited. Several other cars had come in, gotten gas, and left. Finally, I gave up and left. And no, it was not user error or banking issues--my card worked just fine at the competent gas station I visited next. Final answer? 0 out of 10. Do not recommend. What a disappointment! Extremely friendly staff showed us the menu, and gave us a sample of their food. We forgot our dipping sauce and he ran out and gave it to us. The fried chicken was 10/10 would recommend. read more

Tired, hungry, dirty and unshaven, I visited this gas station/ convenience store after a hard morning of surf fishing and found it to be neat, clean and well organized. Even the restroom was clean. Mary and the other women were friendly and professional. The jalapeno hot dog (with extra jalapenos) was tasty and only cost me a buck and change! The lottery ticket I bought wasn't a winner, but thats not their fault, they never are. The gas was less expensive than the place across the street. I recommend this Sunoco. read more

RUDEST cretin I've ever seen. Had a problem with the credit card at the pump and the (?owner) came out with his harsh northeast accent and started yelling at me for "messing with his pumps!" Told me I must have done something wrong and that he'd been "doing this for a long time." Told him he must not have been doing it HERE for too long as he still had a bad attitude and hadn't learned any Southern Hospitality. Go to Murphy's across from WalMart a mile towards the beach. ok first off i'm a very friendly person have had a lot of jobs that i worked just to get by. so i have empathy for the late night shift)etc and am very kind and courteous!!:)and as a previous yelp review***has written that the owner in 2016 came out and started yelling at him in arabic and he said he had been selling gas a long time to which he replied not long enough "bc we dont treat people like shit especially customers southern manner sir"well i have video of my complete and utter worst customer service and actually stole from me and called the police after he stole my money bc their 4real smoothie machince must trickle down service well that's what it should be called but it was more like a customer nightmare and the person @ the center of this was from what he said was the manager. now i work as a brand ambassador deal with all types of people and smile but ray was relentless as when i walked in i grabed a muffin and proceeded to take the top off the milkshake so it can defrost and whip it (pointless w/o it) anyways. i say hello tomwhom i refer to as ray bc long story short the blender was not working and it said it had 17 minutes so i ate the muffin was going to buy other things but he is all you have to pay for that milkshake thing. and i was very nice and explained i wasnt waiting for that. i had to get to my children i just flew in 3:30 am anyways so i was like fuck this i will pay for the muffin so im not stealing so i go to pay and pay with a 5$ and ray hands me back 20 cents!!!!!!!! now this is messed up so he took the milk shake which i still never got and took the money for it while he calls the police . so they arrive i explain that this is pure rotten theft bc their blender doesent work and i still hab to pay for a useless frozen milkshake!!! when he could have been could and said dude i understand were a convent store!?!?bs and he has a rude mouth. so not only did he steal from me , not show any kind of managerial skills and went ahead and charged $ me when i told him i'm not paying for that bc it will be a half an hour before i even get it !??? sure enough this pos calls the trol they get there im like i have no intention on stealing inhave plenty i dont do that crap thats wt shit like this guy ray sure was so the trol police are like well you got you stuff and i am all no i havent walked to the machine and says 2mins still after being fucked with for 30 mins dl clear all bs bc this guy has no social skills man!!? crazy so this part of the video shows ray amd how the police have no idea either bc they take his side i dont want the milkshake this faaaker just spit in!!! i'm done will never go back and will be going to corperate and if you have had a similar problem tell us!!!!! thank you for listening ! this shouldnt happd to any good hard tax working paying citzen in out small beachside town this wt ray! needs to go back to his trailer park out west! read more
