Very happy it has re-opened. Excellent gas prices. They were giving away free hot dogs and soda today!

I've been here 3 times since they opened this year, twice for flat tires and once for car…read moreinspection/oil change. This review is primarily about the latter. They only have one mechanic, who by the way looked exhausted when I dropped off the car in the morning and had a day's work ahead of him. I made an appointment for 10 am on a weekday for my inspection/oil change (I purchased my own synthetic oil to save money), but didn't get my car back until 5:30 pm after I showed up and told them I needed the car. They've got signs that say they give estimations for time but it's not a guarantee, and I'd say the same seems to apply for their pricing. When I called to schedule the appointment whoever answered the phone did not seem very knowledgeable about their prices, and even the day of my service when I spoke to someone on the phone towards the end of the day it still didn't seem clear how much everything would come out to be...well I was shocked to find that they charged me $25 for the oil filter and $32 for the emissions sticker required by the state even though they didn't even do the service itself because we're exempt from driving less than 5000 miles in the past year. I know things cost more nowadays due to inflation, but I think they need more staff, to be transparent about their pricing for standard services like what I had done, and to have better communication. I'm still thinking about that poor mechanic who's overworked here and I think I will look for other options before I come back here for even these simple jobs.

This place is wonderful. They help the customers out pricing is fair. The service is amazing. They…read morevalue the customers and help them in any dilemma or issues pertaining to their cars. I never had a issue going to them for several occasions so I recommend them to everybody

I've had my car serviced by John HAUSER'S a few years now.. ever since I moved to this area. Right…read morefrom the get-go I noticed how polite and respectful they are, actually treating you like you and your business matter and are important to them. They are honest and direct about the repairs they do, always explaining options or necessities, prices, etc. Their pricing is solid too. But the BIG point I want to make here is about the character behind the business. I had some rather extensive repairs done on my car last year. Shortly after which I had to travel to Massachusetts for medical reasons, needing to stay in Massachusetts for surgery and a fairly long PT rehab. During this time I had difficulty with my car. I was told my car needed the same repair John's shop had done on my car...big $$$. I knew it couldn't be true but had no idea what to do. I reached out to John HAUSER'S and John went ABOVE AND BEYOND, helping me trouble shoot, find a reputable garage, and HE called to apprise the garage owner about the case. I have no words!!! I have such respect and gratitude for John's kind, professional, honest, straightforward help!!!! This took time and effort away from his busy day with quite a few different interactions; not only calls with me but researching garages in the area I was in in Massachusetts, but also actually calling and talking with the owner of the garage I ended up taking my car for the service needed. The net result of the repair saved me HUNDREDS of dollars (over a thousand) and a car that's safe to drive back to Pennsylvania in a few weeks! I would give John and John HAUSER'S garage a HUNDRED Yelp stars if I could!!! It is rare that businesses now days treat customers respectfully....but John and his Company not only treated me with respect, but with honesty, kindness, and effort that will stick in my mind forever, inspiring me to "pass it forward"! Thank you, John!!!

Listen. LISTEN. If you are considering hiring this "mobile mechanic," please pause, take a deep…read morebreath, and maybe lie down, because what I'm about to describe is not for the faint of heart. This man rolled up to my driveway in a van that looked like it had already lost a fight with a tornado, a raccoon, and possibly its own sense of self-worth. He hopped out, spilled an entire soda, and said, "Don't worry, that happens." Sir. SIR. Why is that your greeting?? He opened my hood, nodded like he was understanding the secrets of the universe, then poked a totally random part and said, "Yep, that's your problem." When I asked what the problem was, he said and I quote, "Mechanic stuff." Thirty minutes later my car was making a new sound I can only describe as "haunted dishwasher screaming into the void." I asked him if that was normal and he said, "Cars make noises." Then he charged me an amount of money so offensive I think it might be a hate crime against my bank account. He drove away. My car died. In the same moment. Like they were spiritually connected and my car couldn't continue living after witnessing whatever he did to it. If you hire this man, may the automotive gods have mercy on your soul because he WILL NOT. i would give zero stars but, Yelp refuses to let me express the true depth of my suffering.

Finally that morning he came by. Told us the issues and told us what parts to get. We paid him $250 to buy the parts and $200 in labor. Not only did he get junked parts but none of them were good. I asked him to at least refund us for the money we paid in the parts. So he stopped responding. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He took our car parts and sold them for cash and our car still isn't running. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.
