Great free for nothing (donations appreciated) walk into yesteryear. Fabulous vintage wagons and tractors, as well as a couple cool old cars and trucks. Educational stuff in the barns as well. read more

We are a seasonal living heritage museum located in the heart of Red Deer! Come visit us every day Victoria Day - Labour Day, 9-5, 7 days a week. Make friends with our animals on display, milk our dairy cow Lily, explore a blacksmith shop, and explore plenty more buildings and displays to learn what life was like on a farm like grandpa's. History

Established in 1988.

Sunnybrook Farm was first established as a farm at the turn of the century when James Bower brought his family here from Ontario. The Bower family stayed on this land for generations. In the late 1980's, when concerned local citizens were worried that the agricultural heritage of family farms was slowly being lost, James' youngest son, Norman, donated 10 acres of the original family farm to be turned into a museum and heritage site so the story of farming could continue to live on in Red Deer. Sunnybrook Farm Museum continues to be a volunteer-led museum with a dedicated group of awesome volunteers supported by (mainly seasonal) staff members. We aim to be a place where people can experience and learn about the evolution of rural life of Alberta.
