Thinking about Peking Duck all night, we took a punt and head to Sunny Deafood Restaurant.
Ordered Peking Duck 2 course, Oyster Mushroom with Chinese Broccoli and Pork Belly slow cooked in preserved veggie.
Despite being a hectic night the food came out timely and the service was great.
All dishes ordered today are great. The winner is the Peking Duck dishes, second one being San Choy Bow. The Pekung duck Pancake comes preassembled in half moon shape and taste really good. All ingredients are equally represented no wonder we finished it in no time. The second course being San Choy Bow is also devine. It's not overpowered with onion and garnished with water chestnut providing extra texture to the already well represented duck meat and duck skin.
The pork belly is probably one of the best we had for a long time. Its so soft we hardly need any efforts to chew it. The preserved veggie is complemented with fresh bok choy providing the extra texture to this dish.
The Oyster Mushroom and Chinese Broccoli is also very good. All ingredients are cut in prefect sizes making it effortless to enjoy. Can't really fail this dish. read more
