Dr. Giri is an experienced, professional dentist. I felt he was thorough and attentive during my complete exam, and he was easy to talk to. I didn't feel at any time that he was trying to sell me anything, and he understood the fact that I hadn't been to the dentist in years. (He made me feel as a patient and not just a customer) I had two fillings done and a light cleaning since he noticed that I was using an electric toothbrush (thank you Sonicare) and showed me where I could actually improve my dental hygiene to avoid more fillings. Also, he does not overbook, so there is very little time spent in his waiting room. He went above and beyond the call of duty during the recent COVID-19 shutdown when I asked him to help a friend who was having dental difficulties one day, and was in a great deal of pain. Her own dentist was not returning her calls, nor were any other dental services doing so. He couldn't open his own office, but he did contact her and direct her to where she could get help. I think she was more frightened than anything else and just needed to speak to someone. He reached out to help her, and she wasn't even his patient. How cool is that?

When I called initially to inquire about registering as a new patient, Chau was very nice and understanding on the phone, answering any questions I may have, and following up with me to ensure that all my insurance documents and forms will be set before my appointment. There is a New Patient Form on their website that you just have to complete before the appointment to save time. When I arrived at their office for my appointment, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and neatness of the place. There's Nintendo Wii and Xbox stations for kids, large TV, lots of seating at the waiting room, good lighting, really great set-up over-all, a very welcoming atmosphere. Just about 3 minutes after I arrive for my 10AM appointment, I was then greeted by Daisy, a dental hygienist. She asked me first of all if I have any immediate concerns with my dental health, and the main reason for my visit. I told her I do want to register, and that I have not gone to the dentist in at least 8 years.. yikes! During the comprehensive exam, before Daisy proceeded with each test, she would explain to me the process first, and what needs to be done. After showing me the results of my photos and x-rays, she gave me advice on how to maintain good dental health, and also what procedures I had to go through to fix some very few issues with my teeth. Oh, and here's the best part. There are 2 TVs in the room! One on the wall for when you're sitting up, and one on the ceiling right in front of you for when you're laying down, so you can watch TV and distract yourself during cleaning or any procedure they are doing. The whole time I was holding the remote control... nice.. well, in my opinion that distracted me and made me feel a little less crazy and distracted from all the drilling I can hear. Dr. Daniel dropped by for a few minutes, introduced himself, again made me feel comfortable and ran some quick checks as well. He has a very soothing voice and a very friendly smile, again making me feel calm. After the appointment, I was given a bag of goodies.. YAY! I have another appointment coming up in a week, and I am sure it will be as great as this one! I highly recommend ForestBrook Dental. I already convinced my husband to sign-up as well. Before my appointment, I learned that my originally booked dentist had an emergency. Dr. Igor Vujanic (who is also the owner of the practice) stepped in to take care of me, along with his assistant. I couldn't have asked for better care. Both were warm, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Dr. Igor took the time to clearly explain what he was doing, which I really appreciated -- it made the whole experience much more comfortable. Best of all, I was done within 30 minutes of sitting in the chair. A couple of practical tips for new patients: this is a very busy office, so booking ahead is essential as they fill up fast, especially it seems the practice recently went from 4 dentists down to 3. Also, I'd suggest giving yourself more than a tight one-hour window for your appointment -- in a real-world clinical setting, previous appointments can sometimes run a little over, and you don't want to feel rushed. Plan for a comfortable buffer and you'll have a stress-free visit. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Igor and his team for their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care for their patients.
