It's still owned by the same family that's always owned it, and the other one star review is very true to nature. I've been dealing with these landlords for over 20 years, as a family member of mine moved in when I was a teenager. Though I have never been able to find legal proof of misconduct on their behalf, I have never seen them treat a tenant well either. They are unreasonable, unpleasant, and xenophobic. They really push the limits of what they can get away with as landlords. The requirements for residency approval are ridiculous -- plan on handing them your SSN, all of your banking information for at least the last few months, and every other history they can get their hands on for the last 2 years. I am quite positive that the process is designed to keep people out instead of make sure that the tenants would be good. Because the truth is, if they want you there, they'll accept you regardless. The only reason they have the application so elaborately done, so they have a reason to dismiss the people they don't want. To put it subtly, the demographic of the park is not diverse.
It's a bad location, too. The park is in a region prone to black widows, possums, and other wildlife from the nearby forests and parks. I've seen several animals get eaten, poisoned, or run over due to the location of this park. Right next door is a run-down gas station. Across the street is a park littered with trash and graffiti. The temperatures are exceedingly warm, and there's poor cell reception due to the mountains.
The park itself is also lackluster. The spaces are small. The layout of the wires and their access points are confusing, and cause problems when trying to install any form of service like cable or internet. The only amenities the park has is separate public bathrooms for men and for women, plus a communal washing machine and some clothes hanging lines to dry laundry on.
The one positive review posted is from a sociopath that still lives in the park. He's one of the lackeys that caters to the park owners, and he'll probably make sure your stay is unpleasant just as well as the owners will.
I was going to wait until we sold our trailer to write this review, but they won't let us sell it. (They also wouldn't let me live in it.) They've made up every excuse possible, most of which are illegal -- but I can't afford to take them to court because I'm busy paying the lot fee for the trailer they won't let me use.
Sketchy management. I hope someone else gives them what they deserve in court. Zero star review isn't possible, so they get 1. read more
