What a beautiful garden! For a place that is free to wander around it's pretty great. I enjoy going to botanical gardens and nature spaces that I'm fully willing to support by paying for admission so having a beautiful place to visit that is free is great as well. Sunken Gardens has been in Lincoln for decades and has always been free. They do accepts donations if you'd like to help keep this place in good condition and continue to be a nice place for all to visit. Enjoy!

Breathtaking beauty in the heart of Lincoln, it's easy to understand how this sunken garden made the top list in US. Worth a quick visit to enjoy the quiet serenity of a garden. Well maintained, and conveniently located near the zoo. Street parking, dog friendly.

Beautiful gardens that were originally an old dump site with a wonderful story of how these gardens came about. While there we saw a wedding take place and another wedding party having pictures taken, a quinceañera and birthday photos. Obviously this is the place with the beautiful backdrop. A nice little stroll around with scattered benches to sit and chat or just reflect. It is not huge but still a delight.

To start off the garden is FREE! Which is wonderful. This place is beautiful and I had a wonderful time here. The koi fish in the pond are so cute and it is a great place to take pictures as well! I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in town!

Such a wonderful experience this autumn. Beautiful plants and flowers. I can only imagine how stunning in the early summer.

Beautiful hidden gem. Lovely landscaping and terracing, flowers and water features ...and pet friendly !! Always a bonus.

    Beautiful floral design.

Really cool spot to check out if you're in the area! Garden was very well maintained and all the flowers and plants were healthy and thriving. Moderate traffic on a Sunday morning. Took about 20 minutes to casually walk through, stop at the ponds to view the koi, and see the whole garden.

A flower oasis with a koi pond and water lilies. Stairs lead to some mini falls. Not very big but a picturesque spot. Across the street is a rose garden.

I have traveled to this location several times over the years. Each visit results in countless photography opportunities! This location is always very clean, well maintained, and acts a very peaceful place. The park isn't very big but offers various sights to see including small waterfalls, unique walk paths, ponds with fish, and insects. I would recommend taking the trip to view this location when given the opportunity!

Beautiful garden about one block large. The flowers are beautiful and the landscaping is quite nice. Won't take significant time to explore, but a great place to visit for a quick walk. Fully paved paths, so it would be a lovely place to both bring elderly parents or young kids. Witnessed a grown man's joy at having a dragonfly rest on his chest. Lovely spot for a cup of coffee.
