Our group of ladies went home with all kinds of things: Bundt pan molds, drinking glasses, vintage earrings, brass candle holders, all for a great price. You may have to peruse a bit to find some gems, but our cousins that visit often swear they find things every time and chat it up with the lady working there. The sweet lady and her daughter in the shop are incredibly personable, making this place the best of that small-town feel of a store. Wish I had taken more pictures of the place and our finds! Mostly for my daughter but she isn't a girly girl and I had to send her pictures with a note "do you want this?" Miraculously, I got one response as a yes! Made some purchases for one of my sons without asking him. Ingram Loop has some treasures y'all. I loved every single shop I walked into. Most of them full of vintage, antiques, used items. Talk to the owners, or staff they are all very friendly and don't forget negotiate. I usually just pay what's on the tag but I had backup and I feel like a winner!

She fell in love with the pickles so of course had to take a few jars home with her. * On a side note, her office has a pickle tasting day so she was stocking up, Lol! I first heard and tasted Fickle Pickle about 2010 at an after concert party with Rik Emmett of Triumph. I met the owner who had her pickles out and we chatted about what she was doing with the company. Well after reading the "About" section on their website, I must have met the daughter... and I had no clue that the pickles have been around so long or were so popular. Fickle Pickles was founded in 1987 in Boerne, Texas by Billie Shaw affectionally known as "The Pickle Lady." In 2004, she retired so her daughter, Lisa Armstrong, and son-in-law took over production. A second store opened in 2006 in the historic district of Gruene in New Braunfels then in 2014, the 3rd store opened in Bandera on Main St. Fickle Pickles are sweet, spicy, crunchy... and very addicting! No one wonder they find themselves with three store fronts in tourist destinations plus a world wide shipping business. Gotta try them!

I hope they are using Ebay prices for items that actually sold, not what are being asked It is staffed by all volunteers and last year they gave $1 million to the Hill Country Youth Ranch. That sounds like a lot but given expenses have been exceeding revenue by over $1 million a year the Youth Ranch Foundation continues to cover it but their money won't last for ever. I have friends who moved to the Big Springs Ranch for Children in Leaky which is part of HCYR to be volunteer live in grand parents. Beautiful setting with a working ranch, charter school and chapel but I believe only 2 of their 6 cabins are in use now. It's hard to get staff when you are that far from a good sized town.
