Naturally, she started to go into heat during the middle of the pandemic. My wife had lost her job earlier in the spring and we were trying to find somewhere we could take her to do a low-cost spay. We had been on the waiting list elsewhere, but there's only so much yowling and butt arching a pet parent can take. We were able to get an appointment with NAWS within a few weeks. We took our sweet kitty there and for about $80 we were able to have her spayed. The people were friendly and helpful. This is a great place for low-cost spay and neuter and we will absolutely make a donation to them in the future.

I'd like to add that I saw their response to someone else with communication issues on a review here where they claim they answer and return every call which I can assure you is very untrue

He smelled pretty bad, had matted fur, and dried mud in his fur, and Kathy took great care of him. I've never had this kind of service done before, so not sure how the price stacks up against competitors, but honestly the mobile service makes up for a cheaper price that you might get elsewhere. Our little guy is nervous of car rides, so the fact that she pulled up on our street and was able to take him from a spot he was comfortable at is worth any price. He smells great now and is in great shape! Kathy herself was also extremely professional and you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she grooms. The woman replies in a snarky manner "well, that's not really young. We start puppies at 8 weeks". Everywhere I've read, my dog trainer, and vet said not to go prior to 16 weeks/end of vaccinations. I tell this woman that, she replies "but a trainer and a vet aren't groomers". At that point, I hang up. I check the website, she says that no vaccinations are required to get groomed. That tells me she has zero regard for the dogs. Please please do not take your puppy to this groomer where he/she will be exposed to unvaccinated dogs at 8 weeks.
