Walk up counter service, order and pay, get a buzzer and when it goes off your food is ready for you to retrieve. Menu boards are overhead at the register, there is also a buffet available through a different service line. After looking things over, I went for the pecan crusted chicken sando with fries. The sandwich was prepared well and cooked as it should be. The fries were also good. 3.5 Stars rounded up for having a solid farm to table presence 01283

The other plus is the variety of products you just won't find in other big box stores in Athens. There is so much diversity packed into this tiny gem! What the store may lack in cosmetic ambiance it completely makes up for in the availability and quality products and services. If you're looking for specialty Asian products, I highly recommend checking them out.

After looking at the menu board I went for the Roast Beef with Horseradish on a hoagie roll, along with a bowl of chili. A good basic sandwich and a decent bowl of chili. The hoagie was made well, nothing fancy just a sandwich. It served its purpose. The chili was very good, I could have eaten another bowl easily. I didn't even say a word but my cashier asked if I was a veteran and gave me a discount on my meal as a thank you for my service. It was appreciated. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the staff 01295

Other Publix locations have caused confusion in the past with either not having the order ready or having the wrong name on the cake, and the list goes on, so I was prepared for something to be off. However, despite the busy time, the day before the Thanksgiving holiday, this bakery was organized and had all the information accurate. We were in and out. This location is really clean. Very nice and pretty huge. Parking was plentiful as well. Thank you for allowing us to get things kicked off without a hitch. Last thing, the cake was decently priced and nicely decorated. While we were there, we picked up this delicious caramel pecan praline cake as well.
