Just give us a call and we ll be there in no-time!" DON'T COUNT ON IT! I called TWICE, got a recorded message TWICE that said they would get back to me immediately, left my own message TWICE, got a call back NONE. I guess someone just didn't want to get out in the rain. Don't say that you are ALWAYS available to respond when you are NOT. If you want to keep regular hours and not work in the rain, then say it on your ads rather than what you have there. I had a great experience with Sundown. Or at least as good as you can have getting your vehicle towed. The driver arrived about 15-20 mins after my call and got my truck all set up very quickly. Had it to the service department about 5 minutes later. But the best part was the driver's demeanor. I had just come off a frustrating weekend of trying to fix my truck and was this close to burning it to the gd ground or taking a sledgehammer to the engine block. But after talking with the driver and noting this was the first trouble I'd had in over 4 years with it he was upbeat and like "if that's the worst you've had you're doing pretty good!" and helped me get some perspective back. So I put out the match in a cup of water and put the sledge hammer back in the tool shed and then they fixed my truck and everything was fine. It wasn't even that expensive. read more

Worst Towing company I have ever worked with. And I have worked with a few. Very rudez They have kept me waiting for 12 hours and who knows how much longer. I keep calling them and they have lied multiple times saying that the driver would be there in 45min. I called again 12 hours later and now they said they can't do it until the following day. Waste of time. Do not recommend at all. read more

My sister and I rented a horrible cabin in Ruidoso; my car couldn't get up the steep, unpaved road and slid backwards into a ditch. We called AAA, and they sent Sundown Recovery to get us. Bill and his partner...I'm sorry I'm not sure of his name...came and dug us out. My clutch was almost burned up from that experience, but I was able to drive around town the next day. Then my car died in the street in town. AAA sent Bill and his partner to rescue us again. Bill towed my car, my sister, my little pug, and me from Ruidoso to Tularosa and then switched trucks, and his partner drove us all the way to Albuquerque, a total of 180 miles. They made sure we were safe and as comfortable as possible during the long drive. After dropping our car off at the dealership, he drove us home. These guys are lifesavers and so very professional and kind. Thank you so much for your help. read more

Had the same experience where the same black flatbed truck tried to push me off the road coming from Ruidoso to Alamogordo. A tow truck is intended to help you when your vehicle is disabled, not to disable your vehicle. read more
