My curiosity grew and I forced my torn up, nude, 2in Jimmy Choo's to keep trucking to the store... UNBELIEVABLE!!! I've never been in a store that had the modern style with great affordable prices. As I'm walking thru the store in Paris, I'm looking at the Euro pricing and calculating what the US pricing is? I'm really bad at math and my French, but a young man approached and assumed I was American (since he heard me ranting and raving in English) I then politely said, "Parle vous English" lol trust me I had the worst French accent imaginable. He laughed and said, "Yes, I'm American, I just moved to France" I was so relieved. He explained how Paris was the shopping MECCA beside Italy in the world. He then assisted me buying everything my heart desired. H&M now has migrated to the US, thankfully! I love H&M in Paris, courteous, helpful to an American, and down to earth. It's their new affordable fashion brand that's accessible to any budget, but with clothes you won't find at places like H&M or Uniqlo. Lots of basics with modern cuts and enough style for the streets of Paris, or anywhere in the world you might wear their stuff. Their jeans are one of the things most people come here for, and while I didn't buy any, I can see why someone would. They look great and the price is right. You might want to bring an extra suitcase on your next trip, because you're going to run out of room in your carry on.
