It's the Ritz, and the service lives up to the name. Everything was flawless, including the food. I…read moreordered their interpretation of a Caesar salad sandwich, and it was fantastic. The croissant was perfectly flaky and the chicken was fresh and tender. The caramel and vanilla madeleines were unforgettable. We also tried a mango-filled tart covered in white chocolate on both sides, and it was amazing. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the visit. We even left with the bellhop bear as a souvenir. I will definitely return the next time I am in Paris.

I made a reservation for Bar Vendôme the night before we visited for lunch around 12:30. When we arrived, I could see they still had availability they saved for walk ins. Bar Vendome is GORGEOUS. Mostly outdoors, impeccably designed, and a perfect temperature controlled atmosphere. We ordered a Niçoise salad. Escargot, the club sandwich, and a burger. Gotta say, the price per glass of wine is completely outrageous. I got the cheapest rosé and it was almost €40. Wild, but I enjoyed myself. Everything was tasty, and I would definitely come back. One note is that we requested a baby chair, which they were happy to give us, but it was *covered # in food and crayons. The only this is they gave us

I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer modern decor. But what's lacking in decor, the hotel makes it up in their location, friendly customer service, comfy bed, and great patio over looking the Eiffel Tower. Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's literally a few minutes away from all the luxury shops, across the street from Cédric Grolet cafe (take-away only), and the famous Cafe Angelina. The Lourve was app. 15 min walk from the hotel. A few upgrades in the room would be recommended: coffee machine (vs calling for coffee or going down to the lobby), mini fridge that's not stocked so we can put our drinks, ice machine (although we would always get our ice on the double whenever we asked for it - kiddos!). I also think newer and updated furniture would also go a long way. We bought the room with the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to be upgraded to the suite which was amazing! It has 3 small patio overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Seperate large bedroom and living room. The living room has an outdoor patio great for private sunbathing. Oh their bed....super comfortable with great pillows, not one of those that go flat once you put your head on them. I slept like a baby! The staff - everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful. It started with Nicholas who checked us in, the gentlemen at the entrance, the ladies who did great job in cleaning our room and Tonia who checked us out. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

Our room had a king bed and a couch that opened into a bed which made the accommodations for we needed. The hallways were long so getting to our room took a minute, but that was ok and worth it because the view from our bedroom window was lovely. My favorite part was how I could open the glass doors from our room and let fresh air into the room. It was such a unique experience, and I loved listening to the city sounds while sitting by the window and reading. The hotel is centrally located as well so it was easy to get to the touristy areas as well as get to the train so we could visit some other parts of the city.
