Down to the nitty gritty - they do amazing facials. They are in and out, no nonsense and make good use of your time spent there. The website is clearly laid out with all the info. I don't feel pressured to buy products but am a fan of ZO and Skin Ceuticals which they carry. I've had 4 different estheticians and each one has been great. Service in general is excellent and all my experiences have been positive. Their pricing is comparable. Get on the mailing list and take advantage of their specials. So worth it!

I've been frequenting the Plain Jane Mount Pleasant location since they first opened in 2020…read more During that time, I stopped wearing makeup entirely, like many other women working from home. I really wanted to refocus on bettering my skin and invested in an annual membership to do so. With their skincare membership at a price of $179 monthly, I'm able to get a facial of my choice every month at a discount. You also get great member perks and sales on all medical grade skincare they carry, including the Skinceuticals and ZO lines. My confidence in my skin has never been better - I've noticed a brighter complexion with more clarity and reduced dark spots and fine lines. All the estheticians here are lovely and professional, and they offer injections on Thursdays when their onsite doctor comes in too. I believe they still offer 40% off your first facial with a code on their website - definitely a great idea before the holidays! Love this place, can't recommend it enough.

The warm green makes you have very "natural" vibes and you step into a pod with a reclining kind of barber shop style chair and it feels kind of like you're on another planet (in a good way). They have the famous red light bathroom you can take a picture in too. I had the Hydrate and Glow facial and had the option of just relaxing or having each step explained. Since I barely get facials I wanted to know what was being done and I felt very cared for! I'm looking forward to seeing my results. I was in and out in 30 minutes. There is no option to tip, too! I was surprised but it's a little treat as well as it's a deduction in what I expected to pay and it also means they must pay their staff well!

She is extremely skilled and is really great at doing gua sha compared to some of the other younger techs who arent as experienced. The overall vibe of the place is very laid back and clean, beautiful interior and does not feel initmidatinf compared to other medi spas. The front desk staff are very polite and often have a positive attitude.

When you get a service with Ashlene you can always be confident that she is professional with years of experience which is a must for pain free waxing! Ashlene offers a groupon special which is where I learned about her studio. It is located inside of Infinity Salon, there are some free parking at the plaza but can be hard to come by. There is online booking offered as well which makes it really easy to secure an appointment. I find that the waxing experience is much more reliable and relaxing than your regular waxing studios/chains where there can be inconsistency depending on the technician. Happy to be supporting a local business and an experience aesthetician like Ashlene. Highly recommended if you are nervous about getting waxed, it's a good way to ease into the experience in her capable hands.

Ashlene was incredible genuine and that is hard to find in the beauty business these days. I getbtired of the constant upselling and other BS that often goes all with your service. I was there with a Groupon, which I have had terrible luck with as of late, but this was a pleasant surprise. Generally, I feel the beauty Groupons are a let down with astheticians often lacking the proper training for the treatment they are providing. I came to Ashlene for a retry on the whole lash lift experince. I hate wearing a lot of make and love the lash extension look, but I am just not that high maintenance. My previous attempt and a lashlift had me looking like I stuck my fingers in an electrical outlet; months to recover. Ashelen does very nice work! I was very happy with the end result, and though I was initially a little skeptical, after 4 or 5 days its time to give a well deserved 5 star review!! Thanks Ashlene! PS her services are through the Infinity salon. I was temporarily confused haha

The waxer was sweet as well, but her work was not unfortunately. The place was pretty clean but her job was messy. After…read moretrying many different spas and facials as well as several high end skin care lines I still wasn't happy with my dull, blotchy and congested skin. Since I've started going to SKN I've had a few different facials and have made the gradual switch to using most of their facial products line. The facials immediately made my skin feel so much better, moisturized and smooth. I enjoy the calming and peacefulness of the treatment rooms and the professionalism of the staff. I'm sure they're all great but Danielle is my favourite; so knowledgeable, professional, kind and really listens to try and figure out what is best for you. She was able to diagnose and start treating the part of my facial skin I disliked the most right away (melasma discolored skin due to sun/hormones). I am genuinely happy with my skin now. The goal in my mind when I went there was to eventually feel comfortable going without makeup on any given day - mission accomplished! It's no longer something I think about besides when I'm using my products and feeling thankful for them and the hard work they do. I should note one of the things that impressed me the most about SKN was the lack of pressure to buy products. During facials they inquire as to what you use on your skin and appear to try to work with what you've got but suggest a few small changes. I also left my first facial with several samples, which was very helpful as I could see if it was a routine that worked for me (it totally did, very easy). I've also tried their laser hair removal and highly recommend it, minimally painful and again, professional and thorough. Given the quality of the technicians, space, products, service and overall experience I find that their prices are reasonable. They also have an online product store now (pick up or have it delivered) and they seem to have monthly specials on products and services. If you're unhappy with your skin and ready to do something about it please don't wait any longer - just make an appointment. Thanks to the crew at SKN and keep up the great work!
