The next jobs I will ask for her help on are: Change water filter in fridge Change furnace filters Replace batteries in a number of items around the house Do some internet research on a property tax issue I haven't had time to complete Return a coat that is the wrong size Take a big bulky bed spread to the cleaners Replace all of the burned out light bulbs around the house with energy efficient bulbs Return some borrowed items Submit claims to insurance for reimbursement Write a couple of business letters for me to sign & get them mailed Figure out which State agency I need to call to resolve a business question Pick up & install a shower head downstairs like the one she installed upstairs Find a place that can repair a chair that has been broken for 10 years and get it repaired In the spring I plan to get her help putting drip irrigation in to my patio planters - I have not fully succeeded after two years of trying Do research on solar providers and tax incentives & arrange for bids if it seems worth it after the research Help me obtain the paperwork and complete it for a guardianship role I am helping a family member with I will spread this work out over time, but I am really looking forward to getting these things taken care of. It will reduce my stress and make my home easier to manage and maintain. So far AJ has helped me in my home for 6 full days. I think I could put her to work one day per week or at least one day every two weeks for the next few months until I get my projects all caught up & then I can use her periodically for seasonal maintenance around the house & projects as they come up. This new location is right off I-15 in Provo, and you can very clearly see it from the highway. During my visit, the parking lot was crazy. They have one-way direction parking so it gets super chaotic. When there is a lot of people in this Target, it just makes for a mess trying to get in and out of a parking stall. Nevertheless, there is still lots of parking and it is a pretty decent size lot. There is nice, new stuff with this new Target location, which is always great. Their carts don't squeak and have the cupholders. Who doesn't love brand new, shiny things? Upon walking in, I first had to stop over at the guest service counter to make a return. The layout of this could use some work, if I am being 100% honest. There was only three people ahead of me but in order for me to stand in line too, I was standing right at the doorway where everyone was coming into the store. They really need to add those ropes to help form a line better for patrons needing help over in guest services. As for the experience once I got to the counter, it was great. She was helpful and did my return super quickly with no issues. This Target has a layout I haven't quite seen before. There is a pretty long stretch to the left of the entrance, which includes yet another Ulta location. I have really loved the Target x Ulta Collab but besides that, this Target seems to have a particularly large beauty section. This Target was stocked with all kinds of stuff and was quite massive--probably one of the bigger Targets I have been to. Maybe it has something to do with them being new too, but they seemed very well stocked on everything. They also had some employees working around the store to stock more stuff. I didn't really interact with the employees beyond the guest service desk, but when seeing them around the store, they did seem a bit irritable at everyone. Some Target locations are friendly but these people were almost running over people with their big carts and just not saying a word to anyone. In addition to the Ulta area, this Target also has the amenity of a nice Starbucks location right inside and self-checkout options. I know a large majority of Targets have perks like this nowadays but I also just can't stress how big this Target seemed. All in all, I do like this new Target location and love that they have just about everything under the sun. I do wish they were a bit more north, as a Saratoga Springs or Lehi Target would be amazing. I like that they are much bigger than the other Provo Target location and much cleaner than the AF location. I'll definitely visit again when I am in the area!
