So I looked at Yelp and found Valente Chiropractic, which accepted my insurance. Dr. Greg looked over my x-rays and interviewed me to find the best plan of action for my treatment. Dr. Greg is a true health practitioner. I have seen him 10 times so far which has had a positive impact with my issues. I have seen one of their massage therapists, Allie, who was amazing and have a second massage appointment tomorrow with Jill. The office staff is great and are always a pleasure to hang out with in the waiting room.

Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Walked Out…read more I was instructed to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork and did so (actually 18 minutes early). I completed everything promptly and was directed to another building. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member was immediately unprofessional and dismissive. I then waited past my scheduled appointment time -- more than 10 minutes -- with no acknowledgment, no update, and no effort to notify the therapist that I had arrived. At that point, I chose to cancel. I've never had a provider run late without at least communicating or showing basic courtesy. What made matters worse was the rude man at the front desk response -- rather than addressing the situation, maybe attempting to make things good by actually letting the massage lady walking around in the back room know I was there - I was met with further rudeness and a threat of a cancellation fee. This level of service is unacceptable -- especially for veterans who are referred here expecting professionalism and care. I will be reporting this experience to the VA.

On this day, we did imaging, they went over our x-rays with us and pointed out our problem areas. We then had to book another day for the actual alignment. We appreciated that military personnel, get free x-rays, which was nice. The only downside is, they don't tell you the prices upfront. They have many different care plans and I wish they would have went over a care plan with us on the first day we went in, so we could have a better understanding of how much everything would cost. Without insurance chiropractic therapy is very expensive. I have Kaiser Permanente and even with the insurance it was still pretty expensive for an adjustment and x-ray. My husband's x-rays were free because he's military, but I did have to pay out-of-pocket for mine because my insurance only covered a portion of it. I recommend asking for the prices upfront before you book anything.
