We booked an hour on a jet ski as well as a sunset shelling and dolphin boat ride with this group. The men working the experiences were amazing, taking care of safety and making sure we knew everything that we would experience. The jet ski was so fun for my son, and the three hour sunset cruise let us experience dolphin sightings, shelling on an ocean sandbar at low tide, and an amazing sunset view. The guides on the boat took care to show all the young lids on the boat what to look for while shelling and how to hunt for sand dollars. What a great operation!

THANK YOU to this mornings first crew on 5-27-22 the wifey surprised me with an excursion with you guys for my birthday. From start to finish perfect, as a local business owner myself I can appreciate the attention to detail, professionalism and safety the crew delivered. The rough water and winds were no match or concern the crew delivered the experience flawlessly as a local I know the winds and waves so it was awesome. The flight, the birthday dip was AWESOME! My son has his 21st birthday next month and he's next. We FaceTime while in flight and he loved it. Thank you to wifey and the crew and staff at Suncoast Watersports

We had an absolute blast! Initially we thought this sunset cruise was going to be lame like a tourist trap, but it is not!! This was easily the best thing we did on our week vacation. $60+ for 3 hours of fun on the water is a bargain. We even found sand dollars!

We had a great time! This was both of our first times doing this so we were nervous. The workers all made us feel comfortable, safe, and secure. They were very helpful at helping two old ladies get in and out of one boat to another. Most importantly they were knowledgeable. They do offer a package for photos but we had another couple take pictures for us instead. Highly recommend tipping when you do something like this, after all, your life is in their hands.

Highly recommend! Captain Kive and Raama were awesome! We took the kids on the mid morning tour to sand dollar island. We were able to see dolphins next to our boat, watch the frigate birds dive to catch fish from the dolphins, and spent an hour diving for sand dollars on shells. The boat is large, has shaded and full sun areas, and a full bar with snacks available. The tour was extremely well done, very informative, and gave plenty of time to go exploring. This was a vacation highlight.

This company is amazing! We've been using them for 4 years now, we book with them when we visit every summer. Just did parasailing with Ike and Matt on the Bucket List boat, they were super nice and personable I recommend them to everyone who visits the area!

MUST DO if you are in the Saint Pete Beach Area My family and I did both the 5 hour two island trip and 3 hour one island trip. We found dozens of sand dollars. The staff is so fun. Kive was our bartender both days. He is so friendly and helpful. We had Mahi Mike and Tim as captains and both were excellent. PLEASE check these guys out you won't regret it. WORTH THE MONEY. High-quality experience that made us go twice in our trip!!! I recommend the 5 hour trip if you are picking an experience. Seeing the old fort is awesome and Kive gives an awesome, informative walking tour.

We went clear down south to the Ft De Soto area! Cool surprise.

The catamaran exceeded our expectations and we would definitely use them in the future and would most definitely recommend their charter service.

I am extremely disappointed with how this charter from Sweet Escape Charters was handled…read more I received a last-minute text message informing me that my charter was canceled because the captain who held the required license for groups larger than six passengers "unexpectedly resigned." As a result, the company stated they could no longer legally accommodate my booking as originally planned. The message offered three options: reduce our group to six people, reschedule for a later date, or accept a refund. While I understand that staffing issues can occur, this explanation and solution are not acceptable given that this was a pre-booked, planned event that multiple people organized their schedules around. What is most frustrating is the timing and lack of proper contingency planning. A business offering group charters should not be in a position where a single staffing change results in last-minute cancellations or forced downsizing of paid bookings. This reflects poor organization and a lack of reliability. Because of this, I had to scramble last minute to salvage my birthday plans. What was supposed to be a chartered experience has now turned into a simple beach day with drinking games and making the best of a situation that should never have been handled this way. Overall, the experience was highly inconvenient and disappointing, and it significantly disrupted our plans. For a service that markets itself around special outings and experiences, this level of instability is not acceptable. I would strongly caution others against booking with Sweet Escape Charters unless you are comfortable with the possibility of last-minute cancellations and significant disappointment, especially for important events.

Dalton provided expert commentary about the area, even pointing out a few celebrity homes and yachts along the way. It was a gorgeous ride over to Shell Key, and we even saw a few dolphins along the way. Once on the island, we had about 45-50 minutes to explore the beaches and do a little snorkeling and shell-hunting. The island is aptly named, with rows and piles of shells along its white, sandy beaches. The water was warm and perfect for swimming. Soon enough we were back on board and heading back to the harbor. And that's when the magic happened: dolphins! Following along in our wake, and no doubt attracted to the enthusiastic squeals of one of our dolphin-loving fellow passengers, the dolphins put on quite a show. Even Dalton, who I assume sees a LOT of dolphins, was impressed by how long they followed in our wake and performed jumps and flips for us. It was truly one of the most remarkable experiences of my life! Thank you Dalton and Island Ferry for an amazing and memorable tour and one of the true highlights of our vacation!
