My 1 year old daughter started going to leaders in learning daycare in Freehold in February and…read moretruly enjoys it. It's a brand new daycare. Her teacher Maria is just wonderful. You can tell she truly loves kids. She is very loving and caring and I feel she takes care of my daughter as of her own. My baby always have a clean diaper and never had diaper rash so you can tell it's not just being changed before you pick up your child but it's changed throughout the day to keep your baby dry and clean at all times. They also have hot lunches and dinners with organic fruits and veggies Which tells you that the owner, Angelina truly cares about health and nutrition of the little ones! The owner Angelina always greets every child in person when dropping off or picking up. She keeps the place very clean. The groups are small with no more than 6 kids per group so each child gets plenty of attention. The teachers speak multiple languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian which helps a lot to bilingual parents who want they child to speak their parents native language. Leaders in learning have cameras so at anytime you can see what your child is doing throughout the day and they post pictures of your baby everyday in the closed parents group on Facebook so you can see what your child is eating and what activity they are doing while you are at work which is really great! Also, the location of this daycare is great. I drop off my baby in the morning and they let me leave my car parked at the daycare parking for the day which is super convenient. I work in the city so I take a bus to port authority NY. The bus stop is right across route 9 and less than 5 minutes walk. In overall the atmosphere here is very friendly, kind and caring and it feels like one big family. I highly recommend this daycare and can assure your baby will be in the best hands and well taken care of.

She learned many different skills- academically, socially and emotionally. The teachers are wonderful to say the least, as they truly care about every child. Each teacher tends to every child individually, in an appropriate academic setting and in a manner that meets the child's emotional and social needs. My daughter grew and blossomed with every day she attended and every year that passed. I truly believe in my heart, that who she is today, stems from the years she attended this school. It is a warm and nurturing environment with the appropriate age required academic structure that parallels with an environment of warmth and kindness. An atmosphere, like the one at this Montessori School, is an intricate, impressionable and most important part of the young years of our child's youth. The time spent as young toddlers mean so much as to who they become growing into adolescents and young adults and Windsor Montessori does an excellent job at preparing our children for an amazing future. Ms. Yasmín has done an astounding job with this school, the curriculum, the teaching of self awareness; including patience and self intrigued academic skills and the necessity of learning how to play and be okay with ones self. I still and will always recommend this Montessori School to anyone I come across with a child in their pre-k years. I couldn't be happier with the decision of having my daughter attend this school. Her years there influenced, formed and created the wonderful, amazing, academically excelling child I have now (as a third grader). So, in turn, I'd like to place a very special, warm-hearted thank you to all of the teachers. And a deeply rooted, heart felt thank you to Ms Yasmín. You have indefinitely made your mark on my daughter still to this day! Always, Sasha L-P

As first time parents, we were extremely nervous to put our infant in daycare. We were new to the area and selected the school because it was within a 13 min drive to our home. We had no idea what to expect and just prayed that everything would work out. From day 1, we were struck by the remarkable level of care and attention provided by the teachers, known as "guides." These guides have shaped our daughter's early life with their boundless patience (with us), kindness, and genuine devotion to each child's unique development -- (Shout out to Ms. Vijaya, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Manisha, Ms. Fozia). Along with all the extensive training they go through, most of the guides are parents to young children themselves. They were able to help us navigate being first time parents and what to expect with our daughter's milestones, etc. During pickup, they would say, "Charlotte looks like she is ready to start walking in the next week or so" and like clockwork, she started walking. I would have never known the signs of readiness without the help of the knowledgeable guides.  The transparency and responsiveness of the administrators, Dr. Ali (Head of School) and Ms. Stephanie (Assistant Head of School) has been a constant source of reassurance for us. Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie know everyone's name (parents included) and the goingabouts in each classroom. We also regularly see them playing with the children because they genuinely care about the students.  As for the "montessori philosophy," I just thought it was another gimmick. But I was wrong! Our daughter's time at Guidepost Kendall Park has been marked by independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Each day she comes home having learned a new skill (e.g., completing complex puzzles, drinking out of a tiny cup on her own, knowing how to put her toys away, doing the hand motions to "the itzy bitzy spider," etc.). I know she did not learn that stuff from us and I believe that not all daycares have the structure in place that enables children to learn these skills. To sum it up, Guidepost Kendall Park has given our daughter the best possible start in life, and for that, we're immensely grateful. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and have to leave Guidepost Kendall Park at the end of the month. We will be transferring to another Guidepost school (which Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie helped facilitate). We can only hope the new school will be as great as the Kendall Park school.

He had never stayed with anyone but family before this, so I was pretty anxious about leaving him. When I found Matawan Montessori through an internet search for local Montessori preschools, I was excited because it was so close to our home. I immediately made an appointment to meet the director and bring my son in for a visit. Mr. Chris, the director, was delightful. He showed a true interest in my son and encouraged me to bring him in for a half-day session to see how he liked it. We did and the rest is history! He LOVED IT! I immediately felt very comfortable with the staff and environment there. Montessori was the perfect place for my little guy, who was just two and a half at the time, but started in the 3-6 year group because they saw that his interest and attention span were a bit above his age. He will be going into his sixth month at the school and I can't say enough about the staff. His head teacher, Mrs. Marina is fabulous and brings with her a lot of Montessori experience. Her assistants, Kelly and Sheeta show so much caring and compassion, and my son just loves them. He hugs them goodbye each day. Staff meets you at your car and escorts your child into the school. When you pick up, it's the same. They have a day each week where they spend some time focusing on music and one day for gym where the kids learn about fitness and eating well. They also teach Chinese and Spanish in the classroom one day a week. My son has really blossomed in this school. The Montessori method is a fabulous way to allow a child to develop their independence along with a sense of discipline and purpose. It allows them to learn at their own pace, regardless of age, and having the older children in the classroom with the younger gives the little ones role models. This lets the older children feel a sense of pride in helping their younger coeds. Matawan Montessori comes through with flying colors. I would recommend this school to anyone!
