Unacceptable bullying by the supervising maintenance, Ismael Reyes Rodolfo, he badgers tenants,…read morethreatens to track feces into tenants apartments when he has to clean public toilets; he enters apartments without tenants knowledge or consent, takes pictures of their personal belongings, shows those pictures on big screen during community meetings and Ben/mgr just laughs as in agreement with this illegal, adolescent behavior. When tenant praised Alex, the other maintenance whom was very professional & did in fact know how to properly repair things; that infuriated Ismael as he has failed to properly make repairs. Ismael speaks condescending to tenants, after learning tenant had been in professional careers, had college degrees, Ismael asks " why are you living here?", "where are you degrees?" This type of behavior, attitude & poor interaction is beyond inappropriate & totally unacceptable, however Ben/mgr sides with Ismael & his wife Jennifer who also works there and she too will have a snooty attitude as if tenants are bothering her when making repair requests plus absolutely refused to ever sign any repair requests, reasonable accommodation requests. Ismael stated he fired Alex, the maintenance man who was extremely experienced and professional. Genesis, the former assistant manager was also professional but no longer employed here either. The crew of Buena Vista consists of Ben/mgr, husband & wife (Ismael Reyes & Jennifer Rodolfo) plus another maintenance man whom from what I've observed is professional and Debbie who has been here about 2 months is also very professional. These apartments are filthy in the corridors, spider webs on every section of the walls, elevators are filthy and out of service extremely too often especially when tenants who are in wheelchairs live on upper floors which not only is a fire hazard but also detrimental to tenants mental health when they're confined to the floor their apartment is on. The apartment upon move in was filthy, sinks were painted & paint flaking off, shower stained by rusted pipe where A/C condensation drains directly overhead in the 28-30" shower; shower door not sealed and mold all around the seal. This unit had flooded as evident from the mold around seams & at seam of floor. The bottom of freezer door was covered with mold. The front door handle was, still is very loose. The grounds stayed overgrown by 2 + feet all spring through summer until city ordinance forced them to get it cut. The swimming pool was green, never had licensed pool contractor to test the water, several tenants got infections. The security gates are often broke, left open for days. To sum up " What could improve?" Either train management to identify problems and properly, in a timely manner address the problem especially with lead maintenance or better yet, save time & money and hire an experienced, competent, professional, respectful maintenance supervisor. Also pay attention to your tenants regarding problems with your employees attitudes and either train them in PR or hire someone who is professional, experienced & knows that it is the tenants who are responsible for the profit of this property plus they who make your salary, wages possible.

When they came out they didn't have more transitions, so they send me an estimate to come back out to install 4 more transitions for $300 extra dollars. Even though I told them I asked them to bring more they didn't care at all. Won't be going to them for anything ever again.
