I went her for a quick spray tan but the girls working there are just there for an hourly pay and not because they love their job. Not only do they lack in giving newbies instructions on the solo spray tan machines but they try to upsell you on everything without making a relationship with you first. Big No for me. read more

Purchased the $1 tanning in January selected the $19.99 membership fee. Then was told they do not offer that specific membership at Spring Hill location on 02-02-2024 so the girl made me purchase the $10.99 membership that day. Went back on 05-05-24 what was being advertised all over the store? The $19.99 membership. The girl told me she fixed my account after being told incorrectly that they did not offer the $19.99 membership. Went back on 02-12-2024 they charged me $21.09 then told me I would need to purchase additional "points" at $59.99 to continue my membership. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid at all cost. read more

I'm new to the state. I am a regular tanner. Have been for at least 10 years. This salon is the closest to my home. I popped over and the place is clean and up to date. Decided to try it out. The Staff seemed friendly. They explained the beds and packages available. I bought an end of year deal and goggles. I paid $300. I purchased the Fastest beds. This was odd to me because most places have Bronze,, Platinum or gold packages. Which would be low, medium, and high level. I didn't feel like it was very powerful. It seemed to be a Bronze or lower level bed. I can't believe that is their best bed. The 3rd time I went, I left my goggles in the room. I didn't notice until the next tan. They advised they throw them away when left behind. I know this is company policy and has nothing to do with Staff, but that is ridiculous. Are they going to throw away my wedding ring or sunglasses if they are left? Or just keep them? 1 week after paying $239 for an end of year, the price was reduced to $139. I can guarantee I did not receive $100 worth of tanning in 3 sessions. I feel ripped off. I will continue my tanning through the end of year since it's paid for, but I will be looking for a new place. And I will not be spending another dime in here. I was able to order goggles and lotion online at tanning depot. The goggles were $1.95. I ordered a bag to keep on hand. I think you can do better. read more

The first I went I bought 2 spray tans mind you nothing said I had to use them in 30 days. As a matter of fact she said 1 year??? When I went back I told them I didn't like the spray it made me look orange. The girl eventually said what bed would you like? I did the instant one. Bulbs didn't warm up except for my face??? They said that's normal? Any tanning bed I have been in the bulbs heat up. So I took it as they need to replace them. I agree with most one day they are RUDE the next all smiles and willing to help. It's like jeckel & hide you don't know what your walking into. I feel the owner needs to send a few in on Different days in as a new customers and see how they treat them and push their products to the extreme. I also agree they overcharge. I don't like being pressured into something I don't want like memberships that are outrageous. Some would like to pay as they go. $79 for one instant bed and I got a better tan outside. Maybe you need to rethink on your priceses and membership fee's I truly don't think they change the bulbs as recommended not when they feel like it. What it comes down to if you don't like your job find a new one you make the company look bad. The owner should be making sure these bulbs are changed out as they should be. We pay full price for old bulbs and people are starting to see this. Remember word of mouth goes a long way.you could have a thousand good but one bad destroys that thousand goods. It will not b destroyse long before people stop going an not renew their memberships. You own it to fix your people's problems and maintenance issues on the bulbs. I go on different days and different times, and the staff has always been friendly and the salon is always clean. I always enjoy my visits and enjoy talking to the staff. i've been a frequent customer here for 2 years. The past couple of times i've come in i've been asked to sign a consent form. I got it signed about a month ago and tanned fine for 3 weeks. I come in today and they have records of me being there but no record of my consent form. The lady at the front also informed me i have two accounts under my name which shouldn't happen. I shouldn't have to keep my documents with me to tan. My last visit was on 12/1/19, i visit today and i'm asked to sign again which is a major inconvenience for me because i cheer and need my spray tan for the next day. The lady at the counter was rude and didn't seem to know what she was doing. She decided to ramble to me about losing documents and such rather than telling me, if i can't sign tonight i can't tan. needless to say i left the establishment very upset and now i won't have my spray tan for cheer. read more

Anybody else so sick of this place. They have the monopoly on the tanning beds so you are at their mercy. Workers randomly ask if you have eye wear just so you will have to purchase more. Not only are you are subjected to the outrageous price gouging but you are harrassed every time u come in to buy so overpriced lotion. I think they have to meet a quota for sales. I like Sun Tan City... their Versa Spa is great if you don't go overboard with their bronzer or choose a color that is so far off your own that you look like an oompa loompa. Their prices are pretty high... but if you go on Sunday's it's 1/2 price and you don't need a membership to enjoy it! I'm not a big fan of tanning year round or in a bed, but they have some great "beds" to tan in that give you color quick and don't burn you or leave bulb lines on your back. Be prepared to shell out a good amount of money for these beds, but the quality is much better than the generic- fold yourself in like a sandwich- traditional tanning beds. Of all the tanning places in Spring Hill... this is by far the cleanest and best! read more

The Sun Tan City franchise in a whole is a pretty top notch tanning place. This location is no different. They have a lot of different beds and options to choose from, as well as multiple pricing plans. I would give it 5 stars, but on occasion in the past, I have ran into some very snooty staff. I used to be on one of their very high monthly plans and I would go there 2 or 3 times a week around 8:45 PM after my nightly workout. Well on one of my visits, I didn't know it, but they had changed their hours from being open until 10:00 PM to 9:00 PM. By the time I got there it was 8:54 PM and instead of being nice and letting me tan my full 15 mins since I didn't know about the time change, the snooty 18 year old brat asked me if I wanted to tan for 6 minutes. Seriously!? I mean you are going to be there until 9:30 PM cleaning the place, why not let me get in my full tan? I was paying close to $100 dollars a month for my membership! I love this place! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Kayla (aka Kay P) answered the dozens of questions that I had and made great recommendations. She even helped me pick out the best deal for my tanning needs. Overall the place is conveniently close to home, clean, has top of the line equipment and merchandise with friendly staff. I feel everyone deserves this warning about a local business called Sun Tan City located in the Crossings in Spring Hill. I have never had a spray tan before so I have never frequented a place like this. My daughter and I were told by an employee to sign up for a years worth of tanning because it was $10 cheaper by the month. She went on to say that if we didn't want to tan anymore then we could just cancel. No problem! It ended up being a big problem when I went in tho cancel the yearly membership. After an hour in the store they finally took me off the contract. The employee I spoke to that day told me that I had already paid for May and could tan if I wanted to for the rest of the month. She said to make sure I canceled before June 1st or they would charge me for June. Needless to say I never spray tanned again and went in today to cancel my monthly membership. You guessed it, ANOTHER PROBLEM and DISHONESTY. Now they say I have to pay for the month of June, even though I am canceling before June. This is not about $48 dollars. It is about a business in our small community that has employees that are out and out lying to customers. I thought I should spread the word. Went into this Salon and had my wedding rings stolen right off the shelf in the tanning booth. No one had access to the room except the employees. So you can make your assumption as to who stole them. I received NO help from the local management regarding it and every attempt to call and talk to them was hindered by the corporate call screener. You cannot actually speak to the local manager about any issues or complaints...the corporate call screener will not allow you. read more
