I have on and off tanned here for two years, they are quick with signing up, super friendly and have me in and out pretty quickly. The beds are great at the north location, not so great at the East and pretty good at the south. But my favorite is the north location. Also! It was great because I was traveling to Colorado and was able to stop into Kearney and still scan my card without a problem! Tanning isn't for everyone but I do like Sun Tan City! read more

I have tanned here for several years and the staff is usually ok. The price keeps going up and I don't tan enough to justify it. Let's not forget the 1 year membership fee of $25, of course that was last year. Really? It is a tanning hut not a gym or HOA fee. I was over charged by about $14 when I was starting my membership back up. No way in this lifetime were they going to give me that overcharge back. They kept asking for more info from the bank of the transaction until yes, they wore me down. It was the principal. After all this and I talk to my friend in Omaha and her monthly fee is $20 for lowest package. The lowest package in Lincoln is around $35. Bye bye Sun Tan City, you can line your pockets with someone else's "membership fees." read more

Rude and unknowledgeable staff. I typically only use spray tans. I've had a spray tan account with this company for years, which caused me to have a very reasonable price. I wanted to use sun beds for a month leading up to my vacation. The staff added a sunbed package to my current spray tan account. I got a phone call from corporate the following day saying the staff member was not supposed to do that, so they cancelled my spray memberships without my permission, which then caused me to have to pay a MUCH higher spray tan price (due my older price being grandfathered in) when I tried to reinstate that account like I had originally communicated to the staff member. I do not go to this business anymore and go to a different tanning location now. I now realize this place is COMPLETELY overpriced. Save your money and sanity and go someplace else. read more

I understand that company policies can be restricting for employees, but I wasn't impressed with the attitude from the manager.

Michelle, was so rude to me and my friends. We came in and she started to serve us at the desk. Then once a line had formed behind us she decided to kick ALL of us out because 2 of my friends were not wearing masks. I was wearing one and she also kicked me out for no reason. Not to mention Michelle was conveniently wearing her mask under her nose. I have a photo. This lady had no customer service skills. read more

Still great place. However you can only tan with membership or single visits. I don't tan often enough for a membership and prefer upper level beds so financially it didn't make sense to continue. I used to buy sessions...but not any more. They got rid of it November. Back to max tan I go! read more

I have been a customer for years, and am happy with this tanning business compared to others I have tried in years past. All the employees who work there are SO helpful and friendly, except for one employee named Brittneay? She is almost always working, absolutely never greets you when you walk in, will not look at you, will not speak unless you speak first, is extremely rude, and has such a terrible attitude that I consider turning around and driving back home if she is working. My friends have had the same experience and we are all surprised she still works there because it makes it a very unpleasant time in the building. Other than that the rest of the employees are great! The guy who works there is wonderful and always brings a smile to my face! read more

So, I went back today over my lunch hour to tan and their computers were down. They said I could wait but had no idea how long it would be. If I keep telling my husband I'm going to tan and I never come home tanner than when I started I'm going to have some explaining to do! read more

I wish no stars was an option for this location of Sun Tan City, I went here with no prior knowledge of how the tanning beds work and asked the ladies working as it is there job to help guide me into getting the best tan but instead left me with a burn so bad to the point of me not being able to walk. I explained to the girl working that I burned very easily and had super sensitive skin and she still suggested 20 minutes on a low pressure bed and when I reiterated myself and asked if I should do lower time she continued to tell me I should do 20 minutes. As I was walking back to the bed a fellow customer in the salon said that I should maybe bring eyewear which no worker told me I needed, nor did they offer it to me to begin with. Considering that these people work at a tanning salon I thought it was there job to guide me in getting a nice tan, not a burn leaving me not mobile for several days after my visit. I will not be returning to this location. The customer service was awful and its hard to "let myself shine" when I look like a cherry tomato. read more

I signed up for a membership and bought some tanning lotion that 2 of 3 girls working said would have no after tanning smell. Used once and TRIED returning on the 3rd day. All 3 girls working that night had no idea what their return policy was. And wouldn't allow me to return it. After pointing their return policy out on a board attached to the wall they would still not let me return it even though I was within the policy guidelines. After leaving very upset I called customer care. She told me to go back in as soon as I could to return it. I made a social rip to do so the next day. The girl working that night would not return it either. Our didn't know how. She had to call customer care, as I waited well over 15 they finally finished. I told her at this point I wanted my membership canceled as well that I would not be coming back. It took a month to get my return money. Even after several calls to customer care and corporate. I even made a complaint to the B Business Bureau. When the guy from corporate called me he had no answers and I never received a call from the district manager. Will never go here or any location again. And will advice anyone I know to go else where as well. Poor poor training. read more

I won't even give this place one star. I went in to spray tan for only one month I made that very clear to her and I was going to pay in cash but she said they had to have a card or a check # on file for me to do anything I protested a bit and finally gave in and once again I said I would pay in cash. Since it was the last day of the month she said she would pro rate it for today and you can pay tomorrow, so I said fine. Next day I come in and they tell me it has been paid for they took it out of our account, I am not happy but instead of having them put it back into my account and pay cash I let it go so things don't get messed up. I spray tan for my month and that was that until I see they took out another $70.00. So I go in not happy at all,but thinking they will just put it back into my account. Oh no, she is fighting me telling me I signed up for a club thing and unless I came in to cancel it they would take it out every month.We go back and fourth for 10 minutes and she is still blaming me so I say it doesn't matter either way I need the money back in the account. She tells me it will take a few days and to call this # to talk to accounting so I do and the lady on the phone tells me it will take 7 to 14 days for them to give me an answer if they will or won't put the money back. This is not a good establishment when they lie and give you the run around If you don't want your money taken without consent or having to spend endless hours trying to fix the mistake they made STAY AWAY. read more
