As a business owner myself, I know things can go wrong with any service. I always test a new shop with a less expensive vehicle before trusting them with our house or high-end cars. This was supposed to be a simple tint job on our beach car, but it turned into one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had--especially since moving to the area. From the moment I dropped off the vehicle, Chris (the tech) was visibly on edge: drenched in sweat, talking a mile a minute, and already rude. When an issue came up with the rear window, instead of communicating clearly or explaining, he immediately became defensive and started backtracking. When we returned to pick up the car, things escalated badly. Chris completely lost it. He threw window tint film at us, repeatedly approached us aggressively, screamed obscenities, and yelled things like "I used to be a Marine--you don't know who you're f***ing with" directly at my wife. He kept closing the distance on her despite multiple people telling him to back off, and only retreated inside after being confronted repeatedly. Even as we were driving away, he was still yelling from the doorway. I contacted Mike (the owner) immediately. Instead of addressing the assaultive and threatening behavior, releasing any security footage, he brushed it off as a "misunderstanding" about the tint job and made excuses for Chris. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and a genuinely unsafe environment. I will never return and strongly advise anyone--especially anyone bringing family--to avoid this place entirely. 0/10 read more

Do not go to this place. I had a tint put on in 2018 and now it's starting to peel up on the inside. When I called about getting it fixed/removed, they refused to stand by their warranty because I didn't have some piece of paper from 6 years ago, even though the guy I spoke with pulled up all my info in the computer and even read back what I paid down to the penny. They obviously don't want to take care of their customers. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Stay away. read more

I want to start this off by saying, I would still recommend Sun Stoppers, just not this particular location. I had an appointment at 11am today at this location. I left in tears and extremely disappointed. Jessica and her husband were both very rude and combative, and went as far as to make assumptions about my personal life just because I was unhappy with the job they did. Jessica was also just so condescending. They would not let me get a sentence out, they interrupted me or cut me off every time I tried to speak. Overall just VERY unprofessional, rude, and a very unpleasant experience. The only reason I give them 2 stars instead of 1, is because they put me in touch with Garrett (who I believe works with Sun Stoppers Corporate), who had me bring my car to the Lake Norman location so that it could be fixed and reapplied. Save yourself the anxiety and upset, just go to another one of their many locations if you're considering Sun Stoppers. read more

Absolutely avoid this location went in with tints ,dropped at 915 in the am 3pm was told the tints have been removed and when i asked why it was taking so long the manager lady got snippy and handed me my keys .said take it somewhere else. Wow, they do amazing work. I had my Camaro windows tinted by them, then talked to Charles about wrapping and ceramic coat my whole car for an affordable price, they were very professional. They completed the wrap and ceramic coating in 2 days and my car never looked better. Today, I brought my Camaro in to install racing stripes and have my yearly checkup on wrap and ceramic. I explained that I needed my car since my wife was using my other ride for work, Charles offered me a loaner car. Again, very professional and easy to work with. I am so glad I chose them, Charles and his wife are the nicest people to deal with. Again, another great job by Sun Stoppers of Concord NC. I will always be a repeat customer!! read more

I had an appointment scheduled at 3:00pm today. They were 15min late getting to mine which is fine. They come in, say they are done and I pay. I walked out, looked the truck over and it's not completely done. I go back in and tell the guy, he comes out and says he will get shortly. 20min later of waiting he says he can't get today to come back. They did someone else's car before making sure mine was done and told me to come back. This isn't a good business practice. read more

I just took my 2018 Wrangler in for window tint. Jessica was awesome (and easy on the eyes) to deal with and explained to me the different films and how their film blocked more heat than any other film on the market. I highly recommend them for window tint and paint protection film. Great customer service and exceptional work. I definitely recommend them. read more

Had to return 4 times until they got it semi-right. Sloppy work, lots of air bubbles, lots of lint trapped by tint film, spray bottle left behind in vehicle. Would advise against going here. Owners were nice, it's a shame their work doesn't live up to their claims. They didn't even offer an upgrade or anything after having to return 4 times. read more

These guys were great to work with, unfortunately had to come in to get tint removed off my car. They were very personable and everyone I met and dealt with here were cool, did a great job on my car. They got me in next day from when i spoke with them, dropped my car off before they were open and left keys in their key drop box. They called me before noon and told me it was good to go, definitely recommend them! read more
