We Walked in and…read moreit didn't seem open...not well lit, barren feel, "bathroom broken" sign that looks perpetually there, however there was an older man and woman sitting in the restaurant (she was smoking a cigarette), so I asked if it was open and the man replied "No we're just here for the hell of it". The woman, while smoking her cigarette, then says they were "out of breakfast (@10:30) and only had lunch, and if we wanted an egg she'd have to put a whole egg on the grill". Feeling that they obviously didn't want us there, We looked at each other and left. While we were leaving, the man told us to "get up earlier". I kept my mouth shut because my friends live in this town, but wow, rudest experience I've had in a long time. What miserable people to treat others this way, and that guy is a straight up a**.

Small market in Gallivants Ferry on Nichols Highway across the street from the school. They have a…read morefew gas pumps out front and they sell typical convenience store items as well as some grill items. I can't comment on the hot food since I've never tried anything here. They also sell live crickets for fishing. The clerks at the counter are always friendly. Definitely a convenient store if you live in the area or are passing through town.
