I will do the best I can to follow the guidelines of Yelp. Here is my story/review. I own a 2000 Ford F250 that broke down in Bashas parking lot in Fountain Hills Az. My truck just would not start. I changed out both batteries in the parking lot, banged on the starter, and still nothing. Since Sun Devil Auto is basically in the same parking lot as Bashas and less than 100 yards away, I pushed/coasted my truck over to them. Jessica told me their hourly rate was 175.00 an hour and they could not diagnose my truck until the following day. I knew this hourly rate was extremely high for this area, but I did not want to pay for, or have to wait around for a tow truck to take it to Auto Whisperer, who normally does my work and I figured saving the tow cost, I would break even on the labor. WOW was I wrong. The following day, Jessica called me back and said my starter had gone bad and it needed replaced. Not thinking much of the cost for a starter and not being able to fix it myself, having left, out of town for business. I had them change the starter. WOW, what a mistake I made. I was charged a full hour for diagnosing a bad starter. I called Auto Whisperer and their labor book calls for a diagnose time of 20 minutes and a starter replacement of 45 minutes. I double checked labor times with Vinson/Haas and they were almost identical. Total time 1 hour 5 minutes for both diagnostic time and replacement time. At 175.00 an hour or 2.91 per minute, labor cost according to the labor manual should have been 190.00 dollars. Please see my pic below. My labor charges were 350.00 dollars. ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. The starter, as shown in the pic, was 408.99. For a Remanufactured starter, with a 2 year warranty, I called both Auto Zone and O'reilly Auto Parts for a price on a BRAND NEW factory replacement starter with a lifetime warranty. I was told by both 220.00 dollars. ALL STARTERS, AT BOTH STORES, COME WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THEY ARE BRAND NEW OR REMANUFACTURED. So my guess is I bought a lifetime warrantied starter, that Sun Devil Auto then knocked the warranty down to 2 years free replacement, so the next time I come in with a bad starter, THEY will then claim the lifetime warranty and then charge me double the cost of a REMANUFACTURED starter. I can't tell you (people reading this review) enough, stay away from this place. I could have changed the starter my self for $220.00 and saved $618.06. I could have towed it to Auto Whisper, had them replace the starter, and STILL WOULD HAVE SAVED 287.60. If you have money to waste/burn, and don't mind or care if your being taken advantage of, then by all means Sun Devil Auto is your place. If you live on a budget like we do, stay far, far, far way from Sun Devil Auto. If you found this review helpful, please hid the HELPFUL icon. That way I know that my review has helped someone. Thank you.

Dom was honest with me, kept me posted, and the price was fair! Not only did the fix my car, but did everything to the highest standards. It is not always easy to find a good guy to fix your car (and I am a stickler about my car) but sometimes you get lucky in life and find that Unicorn. I have been living 14 years in Arizona and have been to many, many repair shops over the years. Unfortunately, most (about 90% of them) are only looking to make as much $$$ as they can off of you. Not with Liberty! Like I said.... Honest, Trustworthy, Highly Skilled and at a FAIR PRICE! This is the place to go with ANY car issues. I will never go anywhere else. A++++ I would give them 6 stars if I could.

So he drove out to my house the same day and did a personal analysis to help my car. He ended up telling me that I need to do something so cheap that we don't even need to use them. I have never had such trust worthy customer service. I own a lot of cars and are always worried with mechanics. Please look no further and check out Liberty Auto. I am speechless, he didn't charge me a penny and I will recommend and bring all of my cars to them until we die. 100% - 5 Stars - 10 out of 10

As the quotes came in, I noticed that several shops warned they couldn't guarantee proper recalibration with an aftermarket windshield. See N Clear, however, offered a very competitive price with a warranty, so I reached out to them directly. They immediately assured me that recalibration would not be an issue. I booked an appointment for the next morning. I received a text 30 minutes before arrival, and the technician showed up right on time. The entire windshield replacement and recalibration were finished in under an hour. When I asked if I could take the car out to test the lane‑departure system -- he handed me the keys without hesitation. Everything worked perfectly. I really appreciate See N Clear's prompt communication, fair pricing, solid warranty, and excellent workmanship. They'll be my go‑to company for any future auto‑glass needs. If you're shopping around, don't hesitate to reach out to them for a quote.

The tech threatened me with physical violence and the job wasn't complete because my vehicle was too technical for them to figure out. Audio recording: https://otter.ai/u/uBov-2je6StFvu_u1iIiW6Ci3f4?utm_source=copy_url Tech arrived around 1 p.m. and we shook hands. He said he'd be done in about an hour. At 2:32 PM, the technician texted me that he was starting the dynamic calibration and was "almost done." At 2:33, I was told it would be "a few more minutes." An hour later, at 3:25, after I asked for an update, I was told the vehicle was passing the first part of the calibration but not the second. The technician continued driving my vehicle around attempting the calibration. At 3:50 PM, he sent me a photo of his diagnostic equipment showing the dynamic calibration had a fault after multiple attempts. I even remembered that I had a Progressive Snapshot device in the OBD port and suggested removing it in case it was interfering. At 4:27 PM, the technician returned, but the situation still wasn't resolved. Then at 5:07 PM, I was told he would be "heading back over shortly." By 6:05 PM -- almost an hour later -- I was still waiting and had to text again asking whether I should just call it a day. Ultimately, they were unable to successfully calibrate the ADAS/front camera, gave up on the job, returned the vehicle to me without a successful calibration, and later refunded me. I appreciate that they issued the refund, but I lost most of an afternoon and was left with a newly replaced windshield that still needs to be taken somewhere else for proper calibration. What bothered me most was the communication. I repeatedly heard "a few more minutes," "I'll tell you soon," and "heading back over shortly," while hours passed. If the calibration wasn't working, I would have much preferred to be told that directly rather than continually being given short estimates that weren't accurate. The refund was appropriate, but based on the amount of time wasted, poor communication, and the unfinished calibration, I would not use this company again. I felt like they were being dishonest and the communication was horrible.
