For the price that we would have paid for a one bedroom jr. suite, we ended up getting a two bedroom/two story penthouse that was right in front of the ocean at Pueblo Bonito - Blanco. It was amazing! My sister and I couldn't believe our luck. Additionally, Alex set up private transportation for us to and from the airport with the most courteous and friendly driver. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need or want in a kitchen. Their decks are very spacious. You can't drive on the property, but, they have free self parking and they use golf carts to drive you anywhere you want to go on the property. They have an adult pool which tends to get crowded so get there early if you want a lounge. One of my favorite things about this resort is their restaurants and food. We don't usually do all inclusive because we never seem to eat enough to make it worth while for us, but, we always do all inclusive at this resort because every restaurant and dining experience is exceptional! We purchased the All Inclusive but we did purchase the premium package upon arrival. Resort is stunning. Views are outstanding. No one is permitted to walk on the beaches. It is not safe. At this resort, tributes to Mexican culture abound, including your room. They have golf carts that commute back and forth between each of the common areas. This was great. Pickleball was accessible and super nice. Spa - We went twice. Staff were fantastic and reasonably priced. Bar Service was top notch and fully attentive. Entertainment - None - I was slightly disappointed here. Acces So, there is a big beware here. We were invited to a Welcome Breakfast that we were not fully aware was optional. Huge timeshare push that took about six hours to pull away from. They knew a lot about us, they do their research. Teachable moment is, just say no. Their timeshare homes were stunning but, we were 100% not there for a timeshare lecture.

I have had good experiences in the past renting cars. I have been coming here for 19 years. National or Cactus Rentals we're both reputable and didn't try to cheat us. LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE CAR RENTAL COMPANY IN CABO…read more Just a word from a praise and a strong recommendation if you are renting in Cabo; we have rented from most of the companies here and in Cancun and PVR. Most of the large name brand companies play games with add on coverages especially supplemental liability and they prey on the unaware who are cornered at the rental counter after a long trip (and tired spouse and screaming kids ).. I rented from Cactus Rent a car at the airport like 8-9 years ago...they had since moved locations from across the highway to their on site airport location. I decided to give them another try and I remembered their pitch/angle is one single process with necessary coverages included; No bait and switch tactics, etc. Anyway the car rental process was fine but during an otherwise boring rental period (on a Saturday night) in October I was driving alone on the Corridor and hit a incredible pothole ( I was definitely driving cautiously below the speed limit-incidentally the potholes are numerous and unexpected and quite difficult to avoid especially at night) . Unlucky me had an immediate full blowout and I was fortunate to be able to get to the side of the road and away from rapid oncoming traffic. I was semi-panicked as I had no idea how I was going to get out of this mess. It was dark and I traffic was just zooming by. I knew there was a spare in the trunk but I had had recent hand injury and using a crowbar was not at all feasible. TO make a long story short I contacted Cactus office using Whats App---they couldn't have been any nicer or understanding. I am sure had this been Hertz or Budget they would have been creative in informing me I had the wrong coverage and it would be hundreds to send help. Cactus on the other hand just told me to stay put and within thirty minutes sent a young associate with a replacement car to which he handed the keys to me. No questions no nothing. I expected that when I turned the car in I would be dinged heavily for a surcharge for this extraordinary service during the middle of a Saturday night....well it turns out they just said they would courtesy away the entire thing. Considering that Cabo most often seems all about the $$$, this was pretty amazing. Many thanks to the team at Cactus especially Location Manager Luis Cesena G. who went above and beyond in customer service and has made a lifetime customer out of this experienced Mexico traveler....give them a try the next time you are in Mexico

The custom built cottages were spared no expense. Everything is of the highest quality and durability not to mention unique design and details. High ceilings, a butcher's block kitchen, luxury linens in each room and every necessity imaginable from the kitchen to the laundry facility is available. The large appliances are made so that there is but a whisper of sound indicating it's on. All the rooms have their own cooling system adjustable to each occupants desire. The complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soaps are all organic, locally hand made and pure as you can get. Cleaning and maintenance service is provided just as if you were in a fancy hotel wrapped in a cozy robe. Culinary Cottages is definitely well thought out and apparently some heart and soul went into its foundation. There are numerous boutiques on the grounds for shopping as well as an amazing coffee house/winery to boast. The famous Flora's Field Kitchen and delightful farmer's market is situated here only adjacent to the private dining area exclusively for property owners. Fried chicken Tuesday is a local inside tip that many look forward to and outsiders flock to indulge. Honestly, everything on the gourmet menu is of five star caliber and the ambiance just brings it all together. If you get the chance to stay at the cottages, do it! It is an experience you will never forget and will always be a part of you. Taking a tour and maybe considering ownership is the bigger option if you dare... you may never want to leave. The shower has excellent water pressure, and the in-room fridge is consistently stocked with a wide variety of beverages, which is a nice touch. That said, the hotel is quite isolated in Cabo. If you're planning to explore the city, be prepared for a roughly 45-minute drive each way, which can get expensive. Staff: The staff are a major highlight. Everyone is extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This level of hospitality seems consistent throughout Cabo in general. Food & Drinks: Unfortunately, this is where the experience falls apart. The food is very low quality, arguably some of the worst I've had at a resort. Even the "upscale" restaurants serve dishes that are underwhelming to the point of being inedible. The drinks are average at best, with mid- to low-tier alcohol selections. Entertainment: The resort is very quiet and lacks energy. There's minimal entertainment, and what is offered is below average. The shows aren't particularly engaging, and the "Desire" club is disappointing even on a weekend night. If your goal is simply to relax by the pool and do nothing, this could be a good fit. Otherwise, it may feel boring. Final Thoughts: Overall, the hotel is just okay. This experience reinforced my impression that many all-inclusive resorts follow the same formula, charging a premium for what ultimately feels like low-value extras and mediocre quality. This will likely be my last all-inclusive stay.
