This place is amazing. One of the only retail stores where you can try on maternity jeans, pants,…read morebras, etc. Most places (gap, etc) only sell maternity online. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. And will leave you alone if you just want to browse cute baby stuff. This is the only store I found maternity jeans, pants, tops, and bras that I loved and felt comfortable in during pregnancy. The baby clothes, supplies, and toys are all high quality and have lasted through two kids and were handed down to friends. Better for the environment and lower cost per use. All of the items are adorable too! It is a well curated, locally owned store, with a great selection.

I am feeling so much better about myself right now! In the space between pregnancies, it seems as if all brick and mortar maternity stores have disappeared. Buying maternity clothes online is a sure fire way to make you feel like garbage about yourself, which has been what I've been going through. I walked into the store and immediately found an employee who was completely happy to help me find something! She asked about my fit preference and color preference and whether I wanted over or under the bump jeans. She came through with a HUGE selection to try on. I found two pairs of jeans that made me feel really good about myself. Some people might consider them spendy (jeans run $70-$200 depending on brand) but I feel that it's worth it considering that these clothes will probably be worn daily for the next year. They also carry my favorite brand of bras, so I found a nursing bra in my size (which, again, is unheard of in a brick and mortar store...yes...H cup is a real thing!) and it was so nice to get to try something on before I bought it! Oh, I forgot to mention that they carry all range of sizing! It's so nice to go into a store where they realize that some pregnant women are not a size 6! And they have baby bump pillows to try on with your clothes so that you can see how adorable you'll be full-term! Keep being you, Village Maternity! This mama feels pampered today!

My son has attended this co-op preschool for about a year, and he gets so much out of it. I love…read morethat it meets on Saturday mornings, which means his dad can attend with him. It is so awesome to see pics of my two guys building ramps together or cuddling during story time, and my fella really loves seeing our son grow and change along with the other kids in the class. The second thing I adore about our class is the talent: our teacher, Monica, is actually an opera singer, and she brings her beautiful singing to every circle time. Anyone who's heard a group of parents droning along to a song knows what a blessing a gifted teacher can be. Monica also provides a very laid back, attachment friendly style. When my son was scared of one of the circle time routines, she altered the practice to help him adjust, and she came up with clever ideas to help ease him into the routines of preschool. We also have a gifted "parent educator" who doesn't cram education down our throats but offers ad hoc support, tips and understanding. Third pro is the mixed ages. Any kid 1 - 3 years old can enroll. The bigger kids learn sibling skills and get to show off for the littler ones, and the younger ones get to copy bigger kids. It's a fascinating process to observe how fast the little ones learn. Finally, I love that I feel comfortable and at home in our class. The class doesn't operate along gender lines, which makes it feel queer friendly. The other parents who attend with their kids are friendly and open. Our teacher has a lot to do with that atmosphere. Cons? As I see it, this preschool's only flaw is that the co-op is perhaps too laid-back about organizing, which means we hover on the brink of under-enrollment. In short, I couldn't recommend our Saturday preschool more. Even though my own son is close to aging out, I hope the class will continue for many more years because it is so wonderful.

The stars of the show are the wonderful teacher Monica and Parent Educator Glenn. They are immensely wise and talented and gifted teachers. Thanks to the wonderful Monica and Glenn we have beautiful animated singing during circle time, ukulele-playing and sign language instruction too! We look forward to Saturday mornings in preschool because of these great teachers and fun multilingual families. We'll be sad to age out (though it won't be for a while) . . . hopefully by then the age range will be expanded so our son can continue to have fun being part of this community.

Glory, glory hallelujah, Dr. Christian has freed me from my CPAP machine! No more being leashed to…read morethat thing like a junkyard dog! Woo hoo! But seriously, Dr. C took the time to explain all the various dental appliances that I could use in lieu of a CPAP, their pros and cons, and exactly the science behind how they worked. She was patient with all my questions, and so were her entire staff. (And I do ask a ton of questions.) If it were possible, I might take a quarter of a star off because you have to take three separate elevators from the parking garage to get to their office, and that's extremely confusing, but other than that, nothing but praise for this place.

The front desk at the time was also very friendly. The problem is this: After the intake, I scheduled a follow up appointment for additional imaging, only because I was assured (by both the doctor and front desk!) that the office would check my insurance for imaging coverage and follow up with me directly. Instead, no one contacted me at all until I reached out myself days before my x-ray appointment, only to be told (for the first time) that I never qualified for coverage in the first place, and that I'd supposedly already been informed at my first visit. When I pointed out the mismatch between what I was told and what was now being claimed, the office dodged responsibility rather than acknowledge any communication failure. "Hey, so sorry no one reached out to you to follow up. We'll make an effort to fix that in the future." That's really all it would have taken. Instead they went with "We never said that, we already told you." Which is honestly just...why do that? So weird. Tldr: great doctor, but if you go here then get all your communications in writing because their admin WILL gaslight you if they make a mistake. Especially so if you have any doubts at all about how they deal with insurance.
