We walked in a bit nervous to turn over my family's heirloom jewelry (2x engagement rings, 1x family heirloom cross, 1x heirloom necklace) in hopes of getting returned a wedding band and wedding cross to wear every day for the rest of my life. Mr. Moseley helped us design platinum pieces, to include an entire custom wedding band with my family's stones, as well as a cross featuring my grandma & great grandma's diamonds, as well as stones from my mother's cross necklace. My something old was my family come back to life- my mom was in tears on my wedding day seeing our family represented on my hand and neck for our day. Galloway & Moseley were beyond trustworthy, were prompt with emails back and forth with status/cad drawings/updates on little details like size of stones and whether or not we should taper stones on the band. They not only created amazing pieces but will become our family jeweler for years to come. If you are looking for incredible custom jewelry work, this is your team! My girlfriend who I'm looking for a ring is from manning and suggested we go look at Big T's down there and their prices are AMAZING!! For the same price that Galloway was wanting for a 1.2 carat engagement ring, Big T was selling a 2+ carat engagement ring with the wedding band. Of course, Big T was having a 50% off diamond sell at the time, but at least they have sells.

I had been looking for a 14k white gold chain for months without it being too costly. Most I found were 10k and 200+ for only a 16 inch. We found a beautiful 14k sparkly white gold 18 inch chain here for only $115! Great price and the gentleman that helped us was great. Definitely a store to keep in mind.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any jeweler. I brought a temporary mounting in to have set with a CZ that I bought separately. I should have known I was on the wrong track when the gentleman I asked for a quote on the phone told me $37.50 And when I came in, then upped it to $70. He did decide to accept it for the quoted price. Not only was it not disclosed the ring and stone were being sent off site (which I wouldn't have agreed to), the workmanship was very shoddy. I understand the ring I bought was not the best quality, as it was explained to them this was a temporary engagement ring. But it was ordered for the specifications of the stone, size and shape, already in my size. About a week later; the stone fell out and couldn't be found. I took it back. They were courteous enough to order another and "attempt" to remedy the situation. I was told I would be contacted on the happenings with the ring and what the person setting it thought about redoing it. Well, a couple weeks later I get a call that my "ring and stone" are ready to be picked up. Just didn't sound right. I go down with my son to get my ring... I sit after being greeting by an associate and promptly asked "oh he didn't explain it to you?" Well no ma'am, of course he didn't. She said wait just a minute, the jeweler wanted to speak with you. So I sit and watch them, the manager and the jeweler both, for over 15 minutes while they work with another customer. I understand this, I've been in customer service for 14 years, which is why I understand it is completely unacceptable to walk past a client (whether or not they will profit you... Your Indifference is the #1 reason clients will not return and become loyal customers) to your not make eye contact and go back to helping your client you will make more money with. At this point, I was almost ready to walk out the door because I had not been in college or spoken to you. Big knowledge meant that I got from the associate was not the same in my eyes as the jeweler who had requested that I wait to speak with him, to walk past me several times and not even make eye contact. That is not acknowledgment. So when I spoke with the jeweler, he told me that the reason the stone fell out was because the semi mount was not made for the pushing, it was made instead for around cut, which is not the case based upon me speaking with several other reliable jewelers. I was told that they were not able to set it because it would just fall out again. The problem truly was that the stone was set too high and instead of bringing the prongs down over the stone and setting it lower, they set it up higher to where the stone had enough room to fall out. ISo, doing what I should have done in the first place, I took it to a higher end, more established business in town, handed over my ring and will have it done, on site, within 3 business days. Did I pay more? Of course! And I will gladly do so for impeccable customer service, KNOWLEDGEABLE employees who know how to treat a client even if it's not going to be a $20k sale, and to not be blamed for someone else's negligence and inadequacy, both on the part of the jeweler and the manager. When I returned two days after dropping off a stone with the other jeweler, I came in to get a refund for the original price I paid to set the stone. The manager, Suzanne, was extremely rude, dismissive, and attempted to absolve herself of any guilt in the situation. She said, in other words, she resented being told she and her store had given bad customer service and made a point to tell me they were working with a customer on a 1.5 ct diamond and couldn't just drop her to attend to my needs. Never did I ask anyone to do so nor would I, however, the mere fact she mentioned that told me that her intention was to make a sale and truly, that disgusted me. I own diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones, and for her to dismiss my concerns the way she did let me know perfectly well that unless you plan to come and drop serious money with them (and I would advise anyone who is interested in quality workmanship against doing so), they have no desire to do business with you. What did I do? Went and spent over $8k elsewhere for accessories and our wedding bands alone, and gave Galloway and Moseley the temporary setting for the engagement ring. I should have known walking in to their establishment when I saw all types of tshirts and other merchandise this was barely a cut above any mall kiosk jeweler you can find. In closing, I will say, I felt that simply because I wasn't working with a diamond, and I have many reasons for not doing so going forward, that they wrongfully assumed I would not be a profitable customer to them and therefore were very lackadaisical in their work and even more careless with their behavior. Shame!
